Hercule Quest..

Hello, the prize of the last event mission (hercule), asks for 5 demaner kills.. which is nearly impossible to shoot it first and most propably, I'm not going to complete it today. After the event is over, will the mission be automatically cancelled or can I wait for the next domination to finish it ?

 

Nice question, I don't think the mission will stay for that long but it's possible, better try to do it now

 

Is it going to end at 11:59 because it's last day ?

Nah, nearly impossible when we do not know where it appears and when more that 50 players are sitting on the same spot. BP will say that they gave us a free hercule, but only a couple of players managed to finish the quest lol

 

Demaners are on all day today, if you are in an outfit of 8 it is pretty easy to get 5 of them. I would guess a couple of thousand people will get a free hercules today.

 

I'm already 8 hours trying to lock it first in a group of 8 people and we still have 1/5..

my group is very good but the competition and lag is huge because of the crowd..

Yes, I didn't get a clear answer.. When the Domination ends, will the event mission be automatically cancelled ?
Or can I wait to finish it at the next Domination ?

 

hahah this guy said just get in a group and it's as simple as that. Killed over 50 of them today, not one red lock. easy as pie. good god.

 

yeah pointless quest casual players should be able to get reward too i'm too busy in RL to camp DFs all day DO ruined another event with greed wish they would see that if they gave a little to people building their ship instead of just focusing on UFEs the community would grow. all i see anymore is quests that get kills lined up for UFEs during these events while the up and comer struggles to reach for something thats out of their grasp. i mean i like hard but when i got to invest 10+ hours into a lost cause ill pass got other better things to do

 

I manage this in a group of 7 ,, got all 5 in 8 spawns of the demaner ... its not as had as you make it out too be

but previously the quest has stayed on ... but whats the point .. you could pally the gate spins before the next event comes on

sadly the herc went to people who don't need them and the people who did got left out.

Hopefully if you've logged in today you should have received the answer to your question (since the event is now over). I have never seen any event quests disappear as long as you have them accepted (i.e they are running in your quest tab).

With regard to the thread on the whole, you may not like what i am about to write however we have been informed by support that it was their intention for the final quest to be difficult to complete due to the high rewards. The entire idea behind needing the 'red lock' was entirely intentional however as already pointed out in this thread, this is made easier when you are part of an outfit. Although that being said, being part of an outfit doesn't automatically grant you the kill (e.g. if you're inactive at portal).

I understand the event is now over, however does the original poster have any further questions on this?
