I have moved your thread to a more appropriate section. It is odd that you are receiving an unreachable reply from the IP you are trying to ping. This would likely be caused by something on the PC preventing access to the IP such as a firewall or IP/AD blocking program. Please see if these are present and disable them before testing again.

    Best regards,

  3. I would llike to know why BigPoint intend to use Content Delivery Networks to accelerate their data transfers. The arguement of this is the CDN's BigPoint use are located in the USA (Massachusetts to be exact), this would cause huge latency on users located in the UK or basically on the otherside of the world. If DO stuck to deliverying there content from the local servers (HamBurg, Germany), it would make more sense to those living in Europe and neighbouring countries.

  4. strange thing also, if I ping:

    bpcdn.net

    I get no reply.
    If I ping:

    do-test.a.bpcdn.net

    I get a reply.

As you can see, the pings are ridiculous during the hops to the US based CDN service.

Unfortunately there is nothing that we here in forums can do to assit you with this matter.

I would recommend that you send your findings to support so that they can have further investigation done on the matter.

    Please have a nice day.
