How does Darkorbit's Percentages Work?

So I thought I knew how the percentages worked. (something like unless its all from the same thing they work seperately , i say all the same due to boosters being available to double boost so getting a 20% or whatever boost. But booster / design / formation all work after another so like adding 10% then 10% of the would be 110% and so on.

I did a Kappa which should have given me 350,000 honor (so the wiki says)
but i should have gotten either
462,460 (10% / 10% / 4% / 5%)
(first 10% for design / then booster / then bio [cruelty 1 point] / formation [lancer])
or
451,500 (29%) this one would be if the percents all added up (would be to 29%) on top of the actual

But I got this instead; 427,570 (actual)
And i had done 2 kappas back to back. So why did I recieve less honor than what the math would suggest I make?

I've tested the formations on GalaxyGates and they don't work , so... add minus 5% from Lancer...

 

Then i should get 440,440 honor from the gate. If i was to not consider the 5% from the formation - and ive done it before where im fairly certain it worked.

Also why wouldn't the bonus from the formation work, it simply says increases honor points by 5% - not like that exp formations (bat or barrage) that specifically say increases exp from npcs

 

The point is: the information on the wiki pages is usually wrong.
A Kappa gate equals 325,000 honor points, so 429,429 would be the correct amount with the bonuses you have (the formation does work on gate rewards).
The 427,570 you actually got is not so far from the correct value, at least to Bigpoints standards.

 

Oh I didn't know the wiki was wrong - thought it was right ;~; and yeah i re-did the math with the 325k and it is only 2k off. I'm alright knowing it's just 2k off instead of as much as I thought it was off by. Thank you El_Burro

 

I think right on the Cruelty bio for honor points, it just gives points for kills, not overall.

 

I would assume it worked for all honor, as it doesn't specifically say where it boosts it - like the bat formation specifically says npc exp or fats specifically says pvp (same for influence designs).

I remember asking back on the old forum if Cruelty worked and from what I remember the admin said it does work - if it doesn't then there must have been an update they made to remove the bonus from Cruelty in gates.
