How to permanently increase HP.

I have a vengance ship (From auction, I got lucky) and I need more HP for some of these missions as I am in the danger of Sibelon and their boss counterparts. Any way that I can increase Hit Points to the maximum to help me be in less danger of these?

 

Go into your Pilot Sheet, click on the tab that says "Skills Tree", Then there are some abilities which you can get through log-disks that you buy in the store,win in the auction, collect from booties, gates and uber-kristallones. With them you create a pilot point (PP). Every time you create a pp, the next pp will require more log-disks to be created. You can check the abilities there, Ship Hull I gives you some extra HP (permanent HP, unless you reset your skill tree) and there would be Ship Hull II which will give you more HP but before that you must have other skills too, youll see what im talking about.

If you pay attention to your top left side on the Skill Tree, you will see something like this
LOG-DISKS: 827 / REQUIRED: 1020
*You will have less required this is for me only.
this part tell yous how many log disks you have and how many you need to create your next pp.
If you cant find it, it is next to the option in Grey that says "Exchange" this is located right below the "Skills Tree" tab which should be illuminated by and faded blue color.

 

Well since you're struggling with a Sibelon, I would not suggest trying to kill a UBK.

If you want permanent HP, you would need the pilot bio 'Ship Hull'

There are two parts to it.

Ship Hull I - 2
Engineering - 1
Shield Engineering - 2
Evasive Maneuvers OR Bounty Hunter I - 2
Ship Hull II - 3

The quickest path to maximum permanent HP the easy way. 10 pilot points are needed.

No need to worry about gathering full Hercules or Saturn yet, just focus on the bio.

As for obtaining these log disks and converting them to pilot points, is to simply do Zeta gate. It rewards 50 on the spot. And it is one of the - sorry the easiest - gate in the game. So good luck on it.

 

Another Tip. SHIELDS ARE IMPORTANT!!!1!1!!1111!!
Don't focus on just HP, you can take out the sib very easily, just have shields and fire power.

 

zetas would be impossible for him at this point. recommending not kill UBK's is useless cuz he's not asking for that(if he struggles with sibelons why in the world would he go and try to kill an UBK?)

No, he didn't ask for UBKs, you suggested them.

Also, he didn't ask specifically for full Hercules or Saturn. He asked for permanent HP, and it just so happens those two items have the capability of applying what the OP would want. However I simply mention them so he gets an idea of other ways to increase his HP permanently.

I did not suggest him to kill UBK's. I informed him, the many ways to obtain the log-disks from. Hercules and Saturn does not give you permanent hp, because once you take them off you won't have that hp anymore, this does not happen on the pp because they stay there regardless of your ship and drone design.

Thats why you don't take them off, if you still want that hp.

 

technically there is no real permanent hp.
if you use full hercs and saturn, they give you extra hp until/if you take them off. which is also the same as PPs, extra hp until/if you reset your skill tree.
Some drone formations also give extra hp, for example the heart formation and moth formation which give 10% extra hp... again permanent until/if you change formation
HP Boosters also give you permanent extra hp until they run out. they cost 10,000 uridium each lasting 10 hours unless you pick one up from a booty key or a boss/uber npc then they are possibly 1 hour boosters

 

Where do I get the Saturn or Hercules items?

 

Don't worry about them.

Saturn comes from the Kronos gate. It's a design for Goliath. Adds 20% hp and 10% sheilds
Hercules comes form Kappa. It's a design you put on your drones. adds 15% shields to each drone it is equipperd to. If you have full Hercules on all your drones, you get an extra 20% hp boost.

For now, just work on getting the first bits of your bio done. Those things (might) come into play MUCH MUCH later in your gameplay.

 

and what if you want to make more damage? you have to take them off. So is not permanent hp, because you will change your drone design and your ship design.
PP are permanent when you dont reset your skill tree, permanent meaning regardless of your ship design and drone design.

when you say permanent, you are actually meaning for ever... not until something happens.
so you will only have permanent hp with pp, regardless of your drone, ship design.
(making changes anywhere except the skill tree, wont have effect on your hp)

Yeah, saturn gives only hp. But you're wrong about Hercs. They give 15% shields to each equipped drone and if you have full Hercs, you get an additional 20% hp

Saturn goliath design is a possible reward from the Kronos gate. You need 21 parts for this gate and each gate you complete which is required counts as one part so you have to do 22 different gates in total to get your saturn... if you research kronos gate you'll learn more about it, i dont think this is the thread for it
Hercules are drone designs which you MAY get from the Kappa gate. You need all hercules drone designs on your drones to get the 20% hp, so if you have 8 drones you need 8 hercules to get the hp bonus.

So as you can see these are probably gonna be to the last items you're going to get because the sources of these items cost so much ot make.

At your level I'd suggest the pilot point idea for now and then focus more on shields. Or if you are really that interested in HP go for a ship where there is lots of hp, like the aegis or citadel
