I am not able to complete Influence Mission 6

I can't do the mission. It requires me to damage enemy company's players by 10000. I keep on shooting them but the damage which is recorded in the missions window still remains 0/10000. How am I supposed to do the mission?

didnt work for me either, tried the returning fire aswell but just doesnt register at all :/

 

I let the enemy shoot at me. It still shows 0/10000. This is happening to many people on my server.

 

Unfortunately I do not have that quest available to see... Have you tried to let an NPC hit you to see if that helps to register the point. Or even shoot and NPC... or does it require a certain type of enemy ship in a certain map?

Please let me know so I can investigate further.

i have tried doing this quest multiple ways and no damage showed,including 1v1s.cancelled quest now i cant accept it again or accept the next quest.please tell me what im doing wrong

 

relogged.accepted quest again.still no damage done to enemy players.

 

here is the quest. it does indeed say shoot the enemy, so do you guys shoot the enemy companies, i.e. if you are vru then you have shot mmo and eic right? if this is what you have done, then it must be a glitch in the system.

please also note that if you shoot a player wearing crab formation, and if they have bio all damage will go to their shields and non will count for your quest. only the damage that hits the ship is recorded for this quest

 

I am in VRU.

This is a list of the things I did:

1. Let a Lordakia shoot at me in 3-2.
2. Killed an EIC Leonov twice in 3-3.
3. Had a 1 vs 1 fight with an enemy Vengeance in 3-3 (I don't remember his drone formation or whether I damaged his HP).
4. Had a 1 vs 1 fight with an EIC Goliath in 3-3 and took out all his shields and damaged his HP.
5. Shot at an EIC Goliath in 2-4 and damaged his HP.

After doing all this, there was no damage registered. When I abort the mission, I have no problem (I am able to accept the mission again). This has happened to many people on my server though.

 

I am in MMO, I have tried as well I even tried both companies (my name makes me a target) but alas nothing. I aborted the mission and now I cant even accept the mission anymore. Is there some way to fix this or compensate us for this mission seeing how when we get popped trying to complete this we loose points.
