First of all about hitac event terms and conditions:

"Conditions of participation: Persons employed by Bigpoint, as well as any partners or their relatives, are not eligible to participate. In case of violation of these Terms of Participation, Bigpoint reserves the right to disqualify/ban offenders from the contest. Persons who use illegal methods or manipulate the game in any way or form in order to gain an advantage shall also be disqualified. In this case, cash prizes shall be declared invalid and recalled. We'd also like to inform you that users from Italy and Brazil are not permitted to participate in drawings for material prizes.
Players in Russia need an import license in order to claim material lottery prizes."


So, i bought capsules. I increased my chances to win. Bigpoint decide to give freebies for everyone 5 capsules. Imagine 100x players each 5 capsules it is 500 capsules, if i have 50 capsules, then they decreased my chance of winning of 90%, what is against rules. It is fraud and robbery my dear friends. And it is against rules. So i am willing to get my money back as soon as possible. I can invest it in more better things than this black hole in what i won't get anything anyways.

 

Nothing in the terms and conditions says bigpoint can't give 5 free capsules to all the players. You might deem it unfair for you but it is not fraud and bigpoint did not break any of their own rules in doing it.

 

They didn't write anything in lottery conditions of decreasing player chances of winning. So yes, it is fraud.

I am really dissapointed about this.

 

... exactly, if they had stated "There will be no alterations to the lottery the make those who have already paid for capsules that causes the devalue of and decreased chances of winning" then it would be fraud, a break of their teams of conditions etc, however nothing of the sort was mentioned so it is not.

You do realise other people who buy capsules or collect from them cargos decrease your chance of winning? That's not fraud either is it?
You can be disappointed all you like, they did nothing that was against their own terms and conditions.

 

But i still dont get it , some people worked hard and payed money for it , its a stab in the back what they did reducing the chances close to 0% , if they wanted to compensate people simple give them booty boxes or some free uri or i dont know ..... why in hell would u destroy the whole event ..... and yes they can do it ofc just saying is outta order

 

I asked this in Darkorbit facebook page and the response from Darkorbit was:

Well, the more capsules you got the higher is your chance to win. If you own 1000 capsules your chance to win is still way higher.

Pretty empty answer. Of course it is higher I already knew that.. they just don't see it as a problem. Since more than 90% of players are happy with this and 10% are very disappointed BP only cares about the 90% which I understand. It's a company and this was actually a smart move in general perspective, they made more people happy than they made angry.

But this Hitac was the last time many people are going to buy any capsules, dunno how much profit they have made with capsule purchases but it is going to go down now. No one would buy for 10 lottery tickets in real life if million people would get a free ticket.

(and ofc. BP knows that majority of people does not care about this, some people will still buy capsules since they do not realize how weak their winning chances are if BP gives away capsules) (aaaaand it is likely that they will not do giveaway during next hitacs but the chance of them doing so keeps some people from buying capsules)

 

someone with 1 capsule has just as much chance of winning with someone who has 500. your chances of winning dont change at all really

 

You do realize the 5 free caps was a compensation for issues?

You payed for increased chances, knowing there is chances involved. You could be the only other player who did the lottery and you used 1 million capsules and the other person used only one and the other person would still get the prize.

Secondly by making every have one ticket decreases your chances considerably do u have any logical sense or just want to oppose people on forum.
Let me make this hypothetical for u so u understand it . lets say there is a prize one million euro and there is only 3 people with a ticket to win it you chances are 1/3 30% ok. , if the comany who sells the ticket decides to give it to the whole world for freee means your chances will be 1 in blillon from 1/3 .Yes i will have a little bit more cos i have 2 tickets but will be 2/billion so from 30% will get down to almost 0% even if i have one more ticket .

Well I wanted to buy rebate once i reach 300k uri(for last 2 havoc) and 1mil uri for upgrades on next mhh. But bp made me become free player. Great, bp. Keep going, till all do will be freeplayers. STupiD!

 

I paid £20 for my caps because I don't want to waste my ammo on Hitac only for a Noob/Robber to STEAL it!
So many times it has happened to me!.... No one cares about robbing caps After using sab, x4, multy rockets and 3030 do they? it adds up to allot of uri.
I am more than happy with my FREE item because I have saved money uri ammo for those 5 caps.

The more you have the better your chances just like a lotto ticket.

 

dude, everyone got 5 caps. even guys with 0 caps got 5 of them. So congrats but ur chance is decreased.

 

dude you knew buying the caps in first place you might not win look at it this way you got 5 more chances of winning. 42 will be chosen from each server so say you bought 500 caps, for each drawing you got 500 chances to win compared to the ones with 5 so anyway you still got the edge
