I can't change my games Status and neither my Avatar...

Can somebody please help me?

I try to change my status, click on save but it does not save my status.

Also Im trying to upload an image jpeg that is 15x15 but when it saves it also does not change anything.

My game id is : 161153501

The Browser I am using is Chrome.

As this could merely be a browser conflict issue. Have you attemtped to make these changes in a different web browser?

I cleaned all cookies from my 3 browsers Internet Explorer, Chrome and Firefox.

All 3 browsers give me the same result.

Still cannot change avatar picture or status.

mmm what else can I do?

have you used an outside program to clean browser. I use ccleaner from piniform. then re-clean threw browser. Dont know it this will help you or not but i have no issues. If you want to d/l ccleaner just google it but make sure you get the version offered from there site and not cnet!

 

try opra dotn use explore worst browser you can you with this bad game lol

 

Hi Israelingo, It may help if you post the process you are using to attempt to change your avatar and what you see as your current avatar. The more info the better.

Also any error messages you see if any.

Usually when i change my stuff. i have to refresh once or twice to see it take place.

i am having the same/similar issue. i try repeatedly to update my player info under the pilot sheet. i answer the questions re gender, location and so forth. i upload successfully a profile picture. and i update my status text. i receive a text confirmation of the save. but nothing is retained, the profile picture does show, neither does the player info answers. the status text remains briefly but then disappears...

i have cleared browser cache on google chrome, i have cleared the flash player cookies. i have doubled checked that both are up to date. i downloaded and tried firefox with the same exact result. i am on macintosh, using os x 10.9.3...if that matters. =)

Maybe you was one of botters which used outside programs , and they blocked u. If they did that you will never can change your name again , they will couldnt change it if they already blocked u

 

i am not trying to change my user name. i am trying to update my 3 day old pilot profile with basic information...

 

Try using a different Browser and see if that helps first. Post back telling me which browsers arent working so that I can test these issues further along with the servers you current play.

ahoy. i use CHROME and i tested FIREFOX and SAFARI. i cannot update my pilot profile on any of these. i use my GOOGLE account to log in DO, if that makes a difference...

 

Try internet explorer, i never have problems when using that.

 

microsoft ended support for IE on macintosh OS X years ago...

i downloaded and tried OPERA browser with same result. none of these browsers (CHROME, FIREFOX, SAFARI, OPERA) allow me to update my player pilot profile. it is not a critical issue, i can live without the updated profile, but it would be nice to be able to upload a profile picture.

 

if u have a droid try using puffin browser. i use it for these types of things. Dont know if it will help, but its worth a shot. You can d/l in the play store

 

ahoy! an update: i have recovered another account on server us1. on that account i am able to update my pilot profile using the same computer, and the same browser, CHROME. and so the problem must be specific to this account, or this server us3. i have submitted a support ticket. i hope that this can be resolved. thanks.

I did test again in Chrome, Firefox, Yandex, Safari and even Explorer and still can't manage to make any changes to any of my information in my pilot sheet.

Tried doing the same tests but in the MEXICO server and ended up with the same results not being able to change save any information.

I am using 2 computers for this test. A windows xp and windows 7 computer and they both give me the same results.

When I go inside my pilot sheet and try to update my information or upload a new avatar picture I do not receive any error message on the contrary it says CHANGES ACCEPTED after clicking on the SAVE button. Then I refresh my browser to see the changes but like always the changes do not appear after the refresh.

Guys I dont think this is an issue with our browsers or computers?

What else can we do? Can somebody help?

Ok, This has happened to me before and all i did was change loging link. I dont know what link your using but i stick with darkorbit.com when having issues. from there you might have to select server as i dont know i play only 1 server. But give that a shot. User did u clean files at flash site. Also could you tell us the steps you have taken as of yet. this will speed up the help. Another thing to check see if you have 2 flash running at same time. To do this.....

Windows 7-8
Type "about/plugins" OR "chrome/plugins" in the address bar.

Another way in xp and vista / Firefox
Chrome has its own User Profile directory, located in:
on XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<your_username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Plugins\
on Vista: C:\Users\<your_username>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Plugins\

If that directory doesn't exist, creating the "Plugins" folder, and placing plugins in it will cause Chrome to load them.

The other directory is: C:\Program Files\Mozilla\Firefox\Plugins\

... yes, Chrome actually loads plugins from that directory. This is how Chrome magically lets you use Flash in some circumstances, even though you never installed it for that browser.

If you want to prevent Chrome from using a certain plugin, remove it from the 'Plugins' directories.

i am still having the same exact problem as Isrealingo. i change the profile info, saved message received but the changes do not stick.

i agree with Isrealingo that this is not an issue with our browser. as i stated above, the same exact browser, CHROME, was able to update my player profile for a different username on a different server.

and yes, i have been thru the steps of clearing out the flash site files and making sure plugins are up to date. i hope support can assist me, but i have not yet received a reply. waiting patiently...passing the time by killing aliens.
