I can't change my games Status and neither my Avatar...

As this does not seem to have resolved itself with the standard fixes.
I have passed this on to have further investigation done in to this matter.

support says: If you login via a 3rd party gaming portal such as Google, you do not have the ability to change your pilot profile information. That gaming portal does not offer such feature.

 

oh, so you are logging in via a different method... you are not using the direct method of www.darkorbit.com. this is why you are unable to make the changes to the pilot profile.

I am sorry that I did not know that information, Thank you for making me aware.
I wish I could have assist you further on this matter. Did support have any other suggestions?

Guys Im logging directly from www.darkorbit.com and I continue to have this issues.

My brother just opened and started his account yesterday and I tried testing his account to see if his account would do the same results like mine and unfortunately it also does not save none of his information.

Maybe this issue is only happening to new users like me.

MMM I have camstudio, will recording and sending you guys my test evidence be of any help?

Hi boys, I have the same problem and I read all of the previous messages and I tried what you said but nothing changed.
I think there is no solution for it, maybe the problem is about server. I didn't understand about it

I don't have any issues, so either your server has a problem or you all have something that doesn't allow it, for example, some kind of block on your computer which CAN and WILL prevent you from doing such things.

 

are u uploading av in the right format. Also try to change pw on account and make sure to confirm account change then try.

I dont know if this is a fix to your issue or not, But my son had same issue and the fix for him was to reconfirm account. To do this go to back page click gear icon at top right, then click email and send confirmation to email. Open email and click link then make changes and save. Hope this helps ya.

Sorry it wasnt any help. Did you try logging into main server via darkorbit.com. Also when you made this account did i do it through DO or another portal. This could be a factor as if you used a portal u do not have the option to change things.

 

I've had the same issue trying to change my avatar in my pilot profile for some months.

It didn't work with either FireFox or Chrome and I have a habit of not using IE but realized I hadn't tried with IE, so just logged in with IE and it changed the avatar first time.
