I have a BD-01F Flax Drone following me around

    I got the drone but it doesn't seem to to any thing other than follow me around. It does interact in battle, repair, IQ, anything. What do I do now?

    If you go to your hanger you can equip your drones with either lasers, shields or extras. However on the game it will appear to do nothing, e.g if you equip a laser it will not shoot a laser itself but will instead add to the damage your ship lasers do.
    Same with adding a shield, it will increase your ships shield and won't give the drone an individual shield value for itself.

    Basically, As Okapi has answered above your drones follow you around and don't APPEAR to do anything but if you equip them with weapons or shields they will add to the respective effects (lasers hit harder or shields are stronger). The boost that they add also increases as your drones level up.
