ICY events down to only 2 hours now : (

Looks Like I was right a month ago, When I geussed that Icy evens were being changed. They let a two hour icy event slip in a month ago with no notice or announcement on the back page.. WELL now I see an Icy event is on for this Saturday and its only scheduled for two hours instead of the whole day.

NO WONDER when I asked about it before all the Board admins had their lips sealed, and gave cream puff answers, well now I know why -_- , because I was blowin the lid of the STUPID change they made.

GO BACK to all day icys .... greedy bums

 

icys 90% of the time say 2 hours but they never go off till the next day at 4:30 server reset

 

I know what your saying Return, sometimes it was announced for two hours in the past, and did last all day. However, the last icy event went un-announced on forums and back page, and lasted EXACTY, to the minute, 2 hours.

I have seen icy events posted before that have said all day as well.

I asked when this happened if this would be the new trend , and got a "read the faq on Icys" reply

I assume I guessed right and the peeps upstairs couldn't let the cat out of the bag yet, thus the cagey replys I got a month ago.

 

When it comes to the icy event, they need to say something like ALL DAY on the homepage. We like the all day event so don't ruin it for the players. All they need to do is put the correct time on the homepage. How hard is that?

 

It isn't near winter or X-Mas so I see why they did this, on top of that it's a high uridium paying event, it's not like other events like invasion or spaceball last all day either.

 

SO the real problem as I see it, is we have all come to expect something from the icy events that we really are not supposed to get ( extra time) . Now They will (or may not ? ) end the events "on time" .... I guess it "is what it is" , as "they" say .

 

What they need to do is stop creating feelings of distrust and start posting real times, real probabilities, real figures...ect. It messes with your mind when someone "tricks"(imo) you as they seem to have been doing.

 

Any time numbers and chance are involved , especially when those numbers are kept hidden , distrust is an organic feeling that will grow in that kind of environment.

OH and the Icy event did only last 2 hours, with some UFE vengi doing speed laps and rsb / X4 ing the icys b4 anyone could get in on them.....wicked fun DO..thanks.

That's why it kinda needs to be all day, so when that damn vengi is "done" ..the rest of us will have a turn to shoot some.

 

yeah that sucked 2 hours i got 2 and had to pop a few people shooting me off them so no time 2 do many

 

they are right when reduce this event duration, this event only good for ufe. If someone say FE can enjoy it too then yes, FE can kill Icy with group too but really?lol, ufe guys will not let FE kill Icy. All day is too unfair for fe players ( or sub ufe), a ufe can farm alot uri. Even the event appear all day and One Venge like Pie said shoot icy all time then what difference between all day and 2 hours duration?lol It's just your ridiculous reason.

 

Oh it was terrible. I only managed to get a few for like 45 mins then started getting shot of 'em, on my own maps...funny enough, by enemies who were only after icy's...but eh, its a 'PvP' game, so what can we do?

 

I like shooting people off their icys and then finishing them off. It makes them so mad
