Impossible Domination Reward

Can someone please check my maths here?

"We will run another round of the Domination event from Friday 20 to 29 March 2015."

That's 10 days (x24) = 240 hours (x60) = 14400 minutes that the event will last.

"All factions will get a 1% bonus on honor and XP for every 1,300 domination points they gathered throughout the event but 15% at max. "

If dominating you get 1 point per minute. 14400 available minutes in the event (/1300) = 11% maximum reward. In fact you require 13.5 days of solid domination to acheive the necessary points to get the full 15% reward. Is this not a little unreasonable or have I gone wrong in my calculations?

 

also you forgot you get 21 instead of 13 with 3 bases of your company in the maps

 

No matter what points your company has if is dominating they still only receive 1 every 60 seconds. So the maximum company reward is impossible.

 

Thanks for confirming I was working it out correct. Can a mod please check if it is intended to offer us a reward that cannot be given or is it a mistake? Surely they did the maths? Oh, wait...

Yeah and when it started there was no Domination ammo and they put it on and then it is gone again. There is no sale unless the product is on the shelf to play the event

 

You only get the ammo and discount when your dominating.

 

Well it is kind of hard - difficult - tedious - mundane - to start fightin' without the ammo in the first place Some have leftover x8 ammo, while the rest of us fight with x4...not fair in my book. Should have had a sale from the start Then we all battle the Deamdevils as equals.

 

You don't need the rb ammo or woteva it is called to fight. That is just ammo that does x8 damage to the demaner freighter. Again it is not needed as you can shoot it with any ammo and even collect 100k of it from the cargo if you are lucky enough to be able to get a box that is.

The point I am trying to make is they say the max reward a company can have for the event is 15%. It is not. They don't even say how long that booster would run for.

 

yeh yellow a big waste of ammo x1 26k to kill the demanier or wot ever u call them but on the other side of the coin u make 1000 uri

 

Highest uri i made from demaner is 5k

 

But still you can do better with stronger ammo whilst the enemy trolls you. Go do a cubikon then and the enemy still still under you till the last.... Same with the Deamdevil.

I apologize for the delay in a response to this thread.

The FAQ that states this was based around the last event which lasted 17 days compared to the recent event which lasted only 10 days. The maximum of 15% is just a maximum limit to cover all Domination events, but not necessarily a limit that could be achieved during each event. It all depends on how long support decide to run the event whether this maximum limit would need to be enforced or not.
