  1. This game is really inactive I mean literally there are no players around and when I actually do see someone its for a short little minute or two. I don't wanna play if no one plays this game I started playing cause it said 80 million people play so it sounded really fun but its really dead inside, I played for 9 days a total of 30 hours I attempted to have fun but I can't do that when no one else on this planet is playing when I'm on

    Am I wrong ?

No, this game was amazing back in 2010-11; go watch some videos and see how crowded it was.
As it becomes more and more expensive, it becomes unfair for new players to continue. That's the main issue for the inactivity.
Another reason is that they just won't update the game. I mean, we have one or two major updates annually. I still keep seeing events like Team Deathmatch and Infiltration and Sector Control that NONE plays anymore. The only hyped event left is spaceball, which's frequency keeps getting lower. Damn, they gave away damn HERCULES with 50 euros price o_O

  3. I started playing in 2009 at that time the maps were hoping hot with people, you couldnt get off the gate without someone attacking you and having a fair fight was actually fun jumping from one port to another or chasing people around the maps and sometimes you would get popped or pop someone or break even. I also remember a time when everyone talked in chat and the Super players actually played a strategic game (Most) didn't buy their super powers like LF4's, special ships with special abilities, they just played a good game.

Now the game has taken a nose dive, almost anyone new or old can buy their way to SUPER PLAYER STATUS without breaking a sweat you just need lots of cash and an angle ;) The game has been flawed for sometime and they lost control and see only $$ and not the future of the game.

I think some older players left simply because they can't maintain any sort of rank, one day off the game you can lose lots of Rank points. One of the most annoying things I currently see in the game that you did not see in 2009 is new players with 100 hours of playing time being level 18 or above. This shows you that you don't have to work for rank, just buy the right boosters at the right time to go along with the crazy EP Quest and you can pass anyone.

The only thing the game has left is shooting NPC's on Quest because everything else is too much.

Thank you all for assisting the player with their question.
Derrick{RSG}, There are many different servers that are busy at different times. As a new player, you may want to start a new account on one of the other servers to see what the activity level is on that particular server. You can have an account on any server you choose without losing the progress of your first account (just log in regularly to prevent it from going inactive too long as inactive accounts may be subject to deletion.) If you find a server that has the activity you are looking for during the times that you would normally play, then you can just log into that account primarily and, as some do, just log into the other account to perhaps play the game a different way. Ultimately the choice is yours.

Do you have any further questions on this topic or may we close?

    Best regards,
