Increase in laser usage?

I have noticed something strange and it seems a little weird to me. I am not sure if it was when the Carnival event started or not.
it is my impression that i am going through more laser ammo.
I noticed while doing a daily quest that my laser shot failed to pop a Streuner and it took a couple shots to complete this and as well a Lordakia.
Well i do not use x1 ammo and normally use x2 as i have quite a large supply of it and all my lasers are LF-4 so I am not a low power hitter.
Is this an issue that has been reported before? i get the feeling that I am burning through my x4 ammo alot faster than normal.

The amount you use is based on how many lasers you have on your ship and pet, if you are using it. So If you are using ships and pet together will all lasers on you will use 45 rounds of each laser per shot.

I haven't noticed any changes, I still use the correct amount of ammo per shot. I think maybe just notice it more now that you are more conscious of it.

 

Are you getting the message " you have no laser cannons at this time" or something like that. Its been showing up on my screen for a bit now. It seams to stop shooting one or 2 rounds right when message shows up. Well for me that is.

 

My pet has 10 LF-4 on it and most of those are level 16 and it will pop a Lordakia with one shot so why does it take two shots (90 x-2 ammo)
all the LF-4 on my ship are level 16.
Surely this amount of fire power would kill a Lordakia with one shot from my ship. Has there been modifications to the game that is making lasers miss their target?

They are known to be annyoing but if found in large amounts,
they can deal quite the damage to weaker

The Electro-Optics skill in pilot bio hasn't been working properly for last few days so yeah, right now more shots are missing than normally would.

 

As a result of the Electro-Optics skill in pilot bio not working properly will there be any compensation for players such as myself who use alot of x4 ammo and seprom? Free gates for instance?
I know trying to find how much extra ammo that we are using would be difficult to calculate, but when it is noticeable as i have experienced, i feel we should be given some reimbursement or reparation for this game problem.

 

Ah I wouldn't get your hopes up, if there is any compensation is would probably only be something like 5% extra EP for a couple of days :/

Ammo usage is up yes, I know how much I get through in gates and I'm using more, probably because bio is messed up.

 

.-Raijin-. what Support need to do is stop looking at the problem and start doing something about it! How long has it been? 6 days if I'm correct. 6 days to fix a simple problem! I am getting rather impatient with Support and their lack of sorting things out ASAP and I think I'm not the only one.
