Increase the DRO2 CPU to 40 repairs

I think it would make more sense to increase the amount of repairs on one chip of the Drone rep 2 cpu to 40.

This would make more sense because the maximum amount of drones in game is now 10, and 40 is a common denominator of 8 and 10 (most people have 8 or 10 drones, not a whole lot have 9 which doesn't work as it is now).

Despite the fact no one buys these with uri, the cost of the chip could still be raised to 18,750 uri. I got that number by figuring on the current chip it costs 468.75 uri per repair (yay math), and multiplying that by 40.

But be very careful!
Some of us have lost drones due to these very repair CPUs. Right after loss, we checked our configs and sure enough, the CPUs were equipped to both configs, and I had a fresh one put in both after the previous burned out; both configs still had the 32 repairs on it :/
This had happened twice.

After the second time, I sold all the repair CPUs and resorted to manually checking the conditions of each drone.

 

Good idea but heed KilerStreak's warning, manually checking drones is the future lol .

 

It is only another 3750 uri so I don't really think it's worth having a whole nother chip, might just make more sense to up it so that you have 1 credit chip and 1 uri chip

I am aware of this happening, but as long as you have the chip on and support can verify it I have heard they will give you the drones back.

 

They may as well fix them too while they're at it. They don't always work, haven't for a while

Of all the people that had this, and had it verified, they never gave back the drones.

well the system is broke already so it wouldn't change a thing.

 

Check it manually and fix it manually. Best done prior to going into GG and it will rep back to full when you are done You will still have lots of repair credits anyways.
