  1. Dear 56k Dial-up Server Hosts,

    I would love to have some explain this, ok, here we go:

    How can I download a 300mb file with no loss of connection or speed during the entire data transfer of the file, yet when I log onto the darkorbit SpaceMap, i lose connection pretty much 5 seconds after moving around, or I lose connection (quite conveniently in the middle of 10 pirates), and pop several times over and over while playing this game.

    Sometimes I get the feeling BigPoint dont like the idea of their players making profits of Uridium on free strategies such as NPC's. If you want me to buy Uridium via the banking page, just tell me, coz if it stops me losing connection all the time, it would be better.

    I would like a member of the support team or admins to check the connection logs of my account and show me the disconnection reasons between the times of 15:00 (GMT) and 15:30 (GMT). Any server or host which allows connections will be able to display the disconnection reason, IE: EOF, Ping Time Out, Logged Out etc.

    If you cannot display this information, I will assume you will not or cannot do so, or you can not see this type of information at all, even though you should be able to.

    Ontop of this, I would like to pointout i have cleared everything, done everything, and checked everything of which i can do to try and prevent such problems, even disabling my own security on my PC to try and formulate a problem/solution, with no results.

To add, I have just used a network monitor tool to view network activity during usage, on loading DarkOrbit, the Loading bar fills completely with a steady speed of 66kb/s, as soon as the bar is full, the connection speed completely dropped to 0kb/s UP and 0/kb/s DOWN and the loading of the SpaceMap completely Halts. But on using different webpages, the connection is fine and the DarkOrbit backpage also works fine and the Monitor see's all activity which these pages use.

    So basically, the SpaceMap connection seems to boot me off or close its port of which Im connecting too. I think this should be an issue worth raising based on Internet Connections and/or connections to your servers. If support are able to disclose the ports of which DarkOrbit uses, i can open these ports on my end on my firewall.
