Jackpot Euros

The Jackpot Euro is virtual currency that’s hidden in bonus boxes - Collect as many of these bonus boxes as possible. The Jackpot Money you collect will be added to your Jackpot Arena balances. The highest Jackpot available is 10,000 Jackpot Euros.

If you win a Jackpot Arena match, you’ll receive the amount of Jackpot Euros you collected in real money and the amount of Euros in your Jackpot will be reset to 0. If you lose, your Jackpot total will remain the same and you’ll be able to collect more virtual currency until the next Jackpot Arena match.


Jackpot Arena

The Jackpot Arena will take place on the second Sunday of every month. All players who are 18 years of age or older may participate. (Please see restrictions on participation below).

The Jackpot Arena winner will receive the amount of virtual currency in their Jackpot in cash. If the winner hasn't collected any virtual currency, they won't receive any cash. The cash prize will be wired directly to the winner's account. When the Jackpot Arena is over, the Bigpoint Support Team will contact the winner as quickly as possible to get their banking information.

Age Limit

You must be at least 18 or older to participate in the Jackpot Arena and/or collect any prizes won in the competition. Minors (players younger than 18) are not allowed to participate in the Jackpot Arena. This also applies to minors who have their parents'/legal guardian's permission. We will verify all participants' ages before awarding any prizes. If we discover that a participant has falsified their date of birth, they will forfeit any and all claims to the prize money.


Restrictions on Participation

Participation in contests that offer rewards is prohibited for users in Italy, Brazil and certain US states.

 

Jackpot Arena Terms and Conditions

Bigpoint S.à r.l. and Co, SCS (hereinafter Bigpoint) offers the Jackpot Arena every month in the game "DarkOrbit." The following conditions apply to participating in the Jackpot Arena.

Sec. 1 - Jackpot Arena


(1) The Jackpot Arena will take place on the second Sunday of every month.

(2) An invitation layer will appear 48 hours before the Jackpot Arena begins, Players can enter their information in this layer to register for the battle. You have until 1:55pm* the day of the Jackpot Arena to register.

(3) This is how the Jackpot Arena works (subject to change):

Quarter-finals Maps

1. All participants who are scheduled to fight in the first round will automatically be placed on the Arena Map at 2pm*, where they'll fight in a 1-on-1 PvP battle.
2. The battle countdown will begin as soon as both players are on the Arena Map. Once the countdown is up, the No Attack Zone will be removed and the battle will begin!
3. If a player is scheduled for battle, but is not online in time to be placed on an Arena Map, they automatically lose and the opposing player moves ahead in the competition.
4. When a player is defeated in a Jackpot Arena battle, they are no longer in the competition. At the end of the match, both players will be placed on their home base.
5. Each round will last a maximum of 5 minutes. If there is no clear winner after 4 minutes, the Radiation Zone will begin to close in to determine a winner.
6. Players registered for the Jackpot Arena will have a status window in the client that will display who they are fighting next and when the battle begins.
7. Consider the Jackpot Arena status window confirmation that you successfully registered for the event.
8. After the first round of battle, the status window will only be visible to the winner, where they will when and whom they fight next.
9. The number of battles during the Jackpot Arena depends on the total number of registered players.
10. The Jackpot Arena is over when only one player remains, or when the winner of the final battle has been determined.

(4) The Jackpot Euro is virtual currency that’s hidden in bonus boxes - Collect as many of these bonus boxes as possible. The Jackpot Euros you collect will be added to your Jackpot Arena balances. The highest Jackpot available is 10,000 Jackpot Euros.


(5) If you win a Jackpot Arena match, you’ll receive the amount of Jackpot Money you collected in real money. (You can win up to 10,000 in real currency.) If you win, your Jackpot Arena balance will be reset to 0. If you lose, your Jackpot total will remain the same and you’ll be able to collect more virtual currency until the next Jackpot Arena match.

 

Sec. 2 - Participants


(1) A total of 10,000 players can participate in the Jackpot Arena. The participants will be selected at random from a pool of players who are registered for and online during the competition. Players are not assured a spot in the competition.


(2) Players 18 years and older are eligible to participate. Minors (players younger than 18) are not allowed to participate in the Jackpot Arena. This also applies to minors who have their parents'/legal guardian's permission. We will verify all participants' ages before awarding any prizes. If we discover that a participant has falsified their date of birth, they will forfeit any and all claims to the prize money.


(3) In order to participate in cash-prize contests, users must provide accurate information about themselves.

 

Sec. 3 Jackpot Arena Disqualification


(1) Bigpoint employees and their relatives are not allowed to participate in the Jackpot Arena competition.


(2) Bigpoint reserves the right to disqualify/ban players from current and future Jackpot Arena competitions if they violate any of the Terms & Conditions.


(3) Anyone who illegally manipulates the game in any way to gain an advantage will be disqualified/banned from participation. In this case, cash prizes will be declared invalid and recalled.


(4) Participation in the Jackpot Arena is prohibited for users in Italy, Brazil and certain US states.

 

Sec. 4 - Jackpot Arena from Start to Finish


(1) Bigpoint is responsible for running the Jackpot Arena and distributing prizes.


(2) Bigpoint will inform the players who've won per e-mail.

(3) Bigpoint will transfer the cash prize to the bank account provided by the winner(s) after they have proven their age and identity (with a valid ID, passport, etc.). The winner must be the account holder of the account provided. Upon transferring the cash prize to the winner, Bigpoint is released from any obligations outlined in these Terms & Conditions. If a payment is not completed due to reasons outside of Bigpoint's control, no claim can be made to the prize money. Any claims against Bigpoint are invalid.


(4) Prizes cannot be paid in cash and they are non-transferable.


(5) Complaints about the Jackpot Arena must be submitted to Bigpoint in writing within 14 days of the complaint arising. Complaints made over the telephone or after the 14-day period cannot be processed.

 

Sec. 5 Ending the Jackpot Arena Prematurely


Bigpoint reserves the right to cancel or terminate the Jackpot Arena anytime without prior notification. Bigpoint reserves this right particularly in cases where Bigpoint cannot carry out the Jackpot Arena properly due to legal reasons or technical reasons such as computer viruses, hardware/software errors, game manipulation, etc. If the Jackpot Arena is cancelled/terminated by Bigpoint due to inappropriate conduct by a Jackpot Arena participant, Bigpoint is entitled to demand indemnity for damage incurred by this user.

 

Sec. 6 - Data Protection


(1) To participate in cash-prize contests, you must be registered to play; however, you are not automatically entitled to a spot in the competition. By registering, participants expressly consent to allowing Bigpoint to keep any relevant data on record for the duration of the Jackpot Arena, as well as after the competition. Participants can retract this data protection agreement at anytime, thereby withdrawing from participation in the cash-prize contest.


(2) With regard to participants' registration information, Bigpoint is obligated to observe data protection regulations as well as entertainment laws. All data collected is treated as confidential and will only be used within the company.

 

Sec. 7 - Liability


(1) Upon transferring the cash prize to the bank account provided by the winner, Bigpoint is released of any obligations outlined in these Terms & Conditions. Bigpoint assumes no liability for any defects of title or quality.


(2) No liability exists for announcing the winner(s) of the Jackpot Arena.


(3) Bigpoint is not liable for any damage incurred as a result of errors, delays or interruptions in game transmission, problems with technical devices and services, incorrect content, data loss or deletion, viruses or any other issues which can occur during the cash-prize contest, except for when the damage was caused by intent or gross negligence by Bigpoint itself, one of its member companies, employees or vicarious agents.


(4) No liability exists for the disqualified participants described in Sec. 3 of these Terms & Conditions.

 

Sec. 8 - Final provisions


(1) No legal recourse is permitted.


(2) These conditions of participation and the entire legal relationship between the participant and Bigpoint are subject exclusively to Luxembourg law. The legal place of jurisdiction is Luxembourg.


(3) If any provisions of the Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions will not be affected.


(4) Bigpoint reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without any further notification.
