Jump Bug

I keep getting a jump bug on GB1.

I will jump at a port, I'll get the animation but I won't actually jump. The game still plays normally for everyone and and they can shoot me in real time (I can move around and see it all) but they wont let me jump.

Is this just a few players cheating or something else?

 

I'm getting it as well... I'll be running away (doesn't happen a lot ) from someone, try to jump the port, but my ship will freeze at the portal - even though I'm still flying around - and the enemy can still shoot me and cancel the portal jump. I had to spend 20 minutes earlier getting away from 3 VRU, cost me copious amounts of EMPs, cloaks and slow mines.
I will settle for no less then 10 million uridium in compensation for this bug.

Can i ask where you are experiencing this bug?

I often only experience this bug in one place, the battle maps. This is normally because the enemy had caught up with me and fired upon me before i had completed the jump. Since the battle maps do not allow jumping during fights, the jump then is effectively cancelled.

really the admins are still asking if we are haveing issues with this game..... yes we all , or most of us have nasty lag and game is not playable most of the time.....

The recent issues that are being reported via lag/connection issues are being reported by us to higher support. I do not doubt there could be issues with this considering the number of reports in the past week, however i was questioning the original poster as to whether they have experienced the same jump bug which they originally reported.

Jump bug happens mostly to me in battle maps, I will jump at the portal but carry on flying past the portal (evasion tactics 101) but apparently the enemies catch up with me and are able to shoot me, even though on my mini map they are very far behind me. After this glitch happens, I then can not click the minimap to fly my ship, a relog is the only fix
