Jump Gate throwing me mid-map

Just jumped from 3-2 into 3-4, and ended up looking like I was sitting on the other side of the portal, but then I noticed a bunch of red dots congregating between mid-map and the gate to 1-4 (about 3/4 of the map away), and I started getting pings on my shield.

It resembled what happens when lag occurs (even though this wasn't a lag event), so I did what I usually do - click on the mini-map and aim for some DMZ. I just clicked on the portal that I was already sitting on, and after a short bit the red dots started migrating in that direction, and a moment or so later I got the "demil zone" message...even though I hadn't moved at all, lol.

Also, FWIW, in addition to all the other reported back page issues, I've noticed that the back page messages are coming up a bit left of where they usually are. For instance, the "hangar changed" and skylab messages are over to the left about an inch.

 

From what you describe about the port jump, it was Lag, major lag with your actual position not being show on your screen for some time.
When you was seeing your ship at the port you were actual flying to the middle of the map and back to port when you clicked port on the mini map.

 

It looked like lag. But after I jumped I didn't fly anywhere, so if I'd been lagging I would have eventually caught up with myself at the same place I'd been - on the other side of the portal. I couldn't have flown as far as I saw the NPCs gathering in that time, nearly 3/4 of the way diagonally across the map.

I've only ever had this happen two, maybe three times ever, and that was when there were other updates and issues going on. (I reported this happening once, long ago, and my post mysteriously got "disappeared." ) Anyway, it's random and extremely rare, but just thought I'd mention it with the other problems that have been going on in the last day or so.
