Kami explosion delay/lag

  1. Hi i dont know if there's suppose to be a delay in kami exploding or is it just lag but im doing gates and i have to stay in place just for kami to explode or if i cant stay because of the high damage im receiving the kami explodes after the aliens are away lol
     
  2. i have seen it being said its caused from lagg. In gates if you time it right and sweep back to lure the pile to where your pet stopped you can get most of them just takes some practice.

    If the target is stationary then kami will detonate in a timely fashion. If target is moving or moves just before detonating then kami is delayed. I don't know why this is the case, it's annoying and should be looked at. There should be no pause, when you choose kami it should fly straight to target and explode instantly, in my opinion.

    I would like to add is that you need to take damage in order to fire off your PET kamikaze. Also I would suggest is to select the kamikaze before hand when you are away from aliens, once you are ready and repaired go close to the aliens and take little damage and your kamikaze should fire off quickly.

    "should" fire off quickly but most of the time since the target will be moving it will get a massive delay. Really would be nice if this was looked into as in the shop it doesn't say anything about there being a delay when using kami.
     
  6. Kami has 2 seconds delay because the pet has to reach the target.
    But when the target keeps running / not staying still the Kami has another delay like 8 seconds...

    Thank you all for your input on this matter, as there is a delay in the Kamikaze once it is initiated... whether it be the pet needs to reach the target or that the target is moving. We are aware that some players experience more of a delay in certain situations. Example: during special events, when doing gates or in maps that are very populated. This delay would be due to the added graphics and the lag caused during processing this information.

    I hope this helps to explain this a bit... we have passed this on for further testing to see if there is anything that can be done to resolve this matter.

    Yes there is a delay as the pet moves to the target to explode. This issue is that if the target moves after the pet has begun the destruction process the delay is greatly extended from compared to the time it would take if the target had not moved. This is the issue.
