Kappa Multi Boosters

Just throwing this one open to all...

I've completed 3 Kappa gates over the last 10 days and have received the multi booster each time..
Clanmate has done 6 kappas since Sunday and has received 6 Multi boosters...

Be interested to see if anyone else has had an issue???

16-17 kappas now done with 2 hercs.., be nice to get an even split of stuff Bigpoint. Even nicer for an issue to be admitted and for BP to forward me a herc or 2)

The chances of getting valuable stuff from kappa is 75% (Hercules, boosters, Lf-4), 25% for each rewards and 25% chance of getting nothing, although chances are random and you have to be lucky to get one.

Do you (the original poster) have any further questions or can we close?

 

Thanks for that Poseidon, Being level 21 with 4.5 years playing this flippin game i'm fully aware of the above and fully aware of the 'random' nature of Darkorbit. Such as the completely ramdom MHH every sunday at 7 uk time...
My question is to other players to see if any others have had a similar issue to mine ty

 

i did 2 this week and got a herc and a multi booster. I thought great, looks like my lucks in. But when Kronos came around, no saturn

 

did my 1st kappa less then a week ago after going 4 zetas in a row without havoc i got a herc from my 1st kappa.

 

3 Kappa and finished with 2 LF-4 and nothing. So i think its still a good thing to get.

 

17 and 2 is nice tbh, 3 more than it was for me to get my 2nd. First took 12, 2nd igot at 20, 3rd at 27. Im now at 5 from 35. Don't complain bro, jus do em, complaining doesnt change a thing is what ive come to realize. Also, ive gotten atleast 12 boosters from that 35.

 

I disagree, CM. At no point have I seen any official statistics released from DarkOrbit regarding Galaxy Gate reward chances. These numbers are merely figures made up by the DarkOrbit community.

In other words, the rewards from Galaxy Gates are completely random. That is all we do and can know, until official numbers are shared to us by the development team.

i understand zeta is random etc but kappa cannot be random its probability is 25%
thats not right . at least you guys should say in every 4 gates u get 1 of the following
nothing , hercules , lf4 , multibooster
so we know how much we have to put in it

 

This is a funny 1 but last week i done 4 kappa and it was 4 multi boosters in a row, i even complained to support about it, Know what i mean what's the chances thats going to be 4 hercs in a row or 4 lf4s in a row, very slim i rekon.

 

Just becuase the chances are 1/4 for each thing, doesnt mean ur not gonna get 1 of the 4 things multiple times ina row. Its 25% every time you do the gate, not 1 time if u get a booster its 50% for a herc now. Just take my advice, keep doing the gate n stop complaining, it wont change a thing.

Cheers Supercharged, between the 3 of us in one week we've completed a total of 13 Kappas and received 13 Multi boosters..Hmmm

I've no further questions but it would be nice if you could fire this one onto the Techies CM? just to see if it's another little 'Glitch' in the system

You can get nothing in row It happens to almost everyone building kappa's
now U just have to push through it. Sooner or later you'll get Herc's and LF-4's
in a row

 

Support should check this out to see if there is a glitch

 

It has been passed up and the figures have been looked at. The gate is working as it should. Infact, considering the small sample size the gate is paying out too much....
I assume that you dont want me to ask the devs to turn the probability of a prize DOWN?? (Joking)
