    Same problem on US East 1, takes forever to load, and when it does finally load, it freezes every second. Impossible to PvP. When I contact support, they just tell me to clear my cache, and the usual, which is already up to date. My connection to the internet is 45 mbps, my CPU processor/ graphics card are all good and able to handle Dark Orbit. The problem is withing the East servers, and possibly global servers too. I have made a new account and played on Germany with graphics all at the max and have no lag whatsoever.

    Dark orbit, you need to forward this to your dev team, there are people who are upset that nothing is being done. The problem was at all hours before, but now it just seems to be at primetime on East 1.

    Hi there,

    I apologise that you are experience some performance issues.
    LoyaltyΛboveΛllLaws has provided a good list of why these issues can occur, but i would like to add that the servers have been getting DDoS attacks which you can read about here;
    http://www.bigpoint.com/darkorbit/board/threads/connection-issues-and-ddos-attacks.96146/

    The developers are continuing to work to try and reduce any performance issues that you may experience and these are issues that we are continually reporting on a weekly basis.

    I am going to close the thread since there have been multiple threads reporting the performance issues. This is something we are very well aware of and are reporting to support on a frequent basis, there is nothing more that can do sadly.
