Lag in US East 1

    Maybe it's me but..I find it totally unacceptable to have to play with this constant lag issue day after day. Was always told by DO it was my fault but now I know it is a server problems. My question is this..Is DO going to address the issue or are they going to leave the lag as it is. I think the fair thing would be to let the players know what the plan is if there is one. The maps get more empty every week for various reasons and it seems DO could care less since nothing is done or addressed when asked. Been here 5 years and watched this"Free" game get so expensive that most people leave or just sit at port. Sad ending to a once great game.. Sorry DO has decided to let it die a slow death instead of ending it quickly with less pain lol.. Oh and please..I don't need DO to tell me to spend $3,000 on a gaming computer to rid the lag issue.That is one stupid comment that I will never forget.

    I have not played Dark Orbit for over a month now due to the lag on US West server. I will log on once a week to see if it is any better, NOPE, so i just log off. Not worth the hassle or aggravation to try to play. To be honest at this point I might not even start playing again even if they do get around to ever fixing it.

    Man their 's something going wrong around here.
    I have a clan with 14 pilots. The Continuum.
    All Pilots have been experiencing severe lag problems and even worse during the last several days. We are losing rank points and lots of Ammo and I have to say some players are giving up.
    I myself, BARABBAS
    has
    going on 5 years experience. I was even a Full Major at one time and everyone else in the clan were at least Captains. This is for real. Some of us are free players, some pay to advance.
    The lag has got so crazy that my ship actually goes backwards at times. Will not Lock-on of course, and will not fire on any NPC or Enemy ship.
    Blown -up twice today by one of each. Just stranded with my pants down.
    All the other pilots of the "Q" Continuum are reporting the same craziness.
    While I was returning to Base, I was suddenly sent to a Galaxy Gate loaded with Ice and I could not move or fire . You know the result and it took away all my 3 lives. I don't even know anymore how to even post this.
    I guess my question is, where do we all unite about this issue? Is their anyone else experiencing these issues.​

    Another day and no one is having these experiences. I've of course cleared my cache, closed all unnecessary app's and programs. Everything is copacetic.
    In lest than 24 hr's we will be docking our fleet, ""Q" Continuum. We will be only logging on for the daily bonus. My ship "BARABBAS~ and Scar-Tissue" who are due to re-up for Premium Player status will not be doing so.

    I kow I have been experiencing the lag issue for over a month now. All I can do is log on to get my daily bonus & send seprom to my ship. It is especially bothersome after 2 PM Central Standard Time to 2 AM. I have done everything the techies have asked me to do. As was stated earlier the techies always want to pin the problem on us players and our computers. But we players know we are not the problem. Most of us are experienced gamers. I have yet to see DO explain themselves or acknowledge responsability.
     
  6. I am also experiencing great lag, to the point at which whenever I try to target an alien, the target symbol would not show. And my ship won't fire. ID:160480693 Server:USEast i live in houston,Texas if that helps

    We can understand the frustration that you are having, however we as the forums team are doing the best we can to attempt to help resolve you issue. We cannot fix the actual game issues... but we do pass on the information to the development team so that the are made aware of the issues currently happening within the game.

    I know this is not a fix to the issue, but please know we are trying to ensure that you have a fun gaming experience.
