Lay-a-way plan for A & Z Drones

    How about some sort of way to apply uridium to a holding system towards the purchase of the A or Z drones. This would allow a player to put 10K, 50K, 100K towards a drone without having to look at it for months.

    If there were a lay-a-way plan in place I could put say 10K a week towards my eventual purchase. When my drone pieces and uridium add up to the price I could then purchase it. It would also allow gate bunnies to put the uridium winnings from gates directly to this holding account.

    I just bought uridium. I also make uridium in the game. But saving up enough uridium to buy the Zeus drone will never happen. Why? I have to save up all of it or nothing.

    With B02's or LF-3's you can buy 1 at a time and the price is manageable. With upgrades, you buy 1 upgrade at a time and the price is manageable. Even the cost of ships and drone formations are manageable with time. But to save up enough uridium to purchase a Zeus drone outright from earnings in the game is impossible.

    They want people to buy uri and such for booty keys and then see that they get nothing from bootys so they buy more keys. Big Point just wants big bucks.

    I thought about that also .. because i save up alot trying to get enough for zeus but end up blowing it on rsb, boosters, etc.... if i coulda put it down on the drone i would have it by now

    So - the next question is how do you make it happen?

    Do you set up a system like the log disks so you can buy 1 drone piece at a time? Drone Part Credits?

    I like this idea for new players. I think you could just have a option next to them drones like trade type in the amount of uri u want and it will take that amount away from the price of the drone.

    You just need to manage your "in game" finances better :p

    I saved up 500k uri , it took me many months as a free player bashing gates from pali, and doing icy events for hours (the last time the were for more than two hours...that's a thing of the past now with this 2 hour crap they changed it to, very much TOO bad :mad: :().

    I used ALL that uri on gold booty, which got my drone cost down to 260 k URI....

    So then I had to save for several more months just to "buy" it for that price.....

    I worked on the Zeus for over 7 months before I got it...so just work hard, be patient, and be disciplined with your URI.

    PS : It also looks cool when you look at your uri count and see it so high , its a sense of accomplishment :)

    PPS: I will say yes to the idea tho , since it seems people want it , and it wont hurt anyone :)
