  1. I have posted in the past about merging servers so know all about the excuses that get repeated as to why this will never happen..........

I Play this game from my home country England. When I started the game back in 2009 I was automatically directed to the GB server (GB2 did not exist)

I am assuming that if a gamer looking for a new game to play who lives in Frankfurt decides to `join the battle` that gamer will be directed to the Germany7 server. If that gamer lives in Seville then he/she will be directed to the Spain4 server and so on.

Now I do know that BP has made it easier to switch servers with the function on the back page that was introduced some time ago, albeit you start from scratch.

I am proposing that instead of directing the new player (yes there are new players spread across the many servers) is not directed to the newest/latest server available to that part of the world but instead is directed to a totally new server.
You would be correct in assuming that I believe there are too many servers with low population and also that this idea will be creating yet another server but the idea here is that the new player, or old player who wishes to give this dying game one last throw of the dice, will be starting the game with a large amount of gamers all condensed together.

We play this game on the worldwide web so why put all the Brits on GB2, the French on France4 etc.

I for one would gladly retire my `near` ufe ego trip of a ship to play on such a new server

PS. A new npc called the `tumbleweeder` 10 billion health. 5 uri reward. can be found blowing across all maps :)

  2. Then, I suppose, the people who speak French will easily communicate with the people who only speak English.

So all the new players get put into 1 single server?? Bad idea.

    1. It would make the new players have an extremely hard time getting use to the game, especially without the help of stronger players to help.
    2. As the person above me said, it would pretty much be an international server. Every language has their own chat. I would assume that this would make chat dead. The last thing that BP wants, is for new players to think that DO is a dead game.
If you are talking about a server merge, then support has already declared that it is not possible with the coding.
