lvl.11 and everything is impossible...

I´ve started on the server us3.I am now lvl11 ,got a veng with a iris and flax drone,some lf3,lf2 lasers and two bo2 shields and 9 of fastest speed gens.

US3 is a really good server for newcommers but it´s still not possible as a non Banker to reach a decent status without to put 24/7 alien shooting!
I can´t even build my skylab because it´s to expensive and my clan can´t pay some credits out because of this ***** system that it´s not possible anymore to pay a good amount of credits out for newcommers even.(thannks BP)

I know the system is made that we are forced to spend MONEY as far and much as we can,but I won´t spend a PENNY.


Give me tips guys how can I get better,because now I dont wanna play my low acc...its nearly impossible really.

 

That is the game. It takes time to build up your ship. People have been playing this game for years and they all started in whats called a peanut.

Enjoy the process and after you get all lf3s and bo2s and speed gens then run a vengi it does go fast and can hit hard enough.

Hey, I play on EAST3 server, I think that's the one you mean . Anyways, the only aliens worth shooting are cubes, and uber saimons on 4-5, also ice meteors when they have the event....the rest will get you absolutley no where...even BK's really are not worth grinding, especially if you hit under 10,000 with X1.

As for progressing you have 2 choices.

1. Box box box on the 4-x maps, after you are FE (full BO2's, LF3's and speed gens), get a pet and an auto looter gear to help. I know you don't want to spend a penny, but the box doubler is about the only thing worth buying, if you have the time to box. ( having pet and your pilot bio set for boxing helps too). I get 404 uri or 4 gate spins with the highest boxes and doubler and bio.

2. Get to level 14 (or 16) and collect palladium on 5-3. You really need to be FE for this, so boxing first till then is a good play. Also get pet and auto resource gear and a couple level 2 radars, it is cheap enough and helps. PALI is the FASTEST way to progress in the game without spending any money. If you have box doubler, that makes boxing better obviously.

With all those gate spins, do Zeta gates, spend the log disks on that pilot bio and save booty keys for Gold Zeus day. That is the best way to go post FE.... Well you could go straight to Kappa gates for LF4 and Hercs, but you don't get as much Uri or log disks or booty keys, best to do Kappas after you have Apis and Zeus drones (from opening GOLD boxes only)....Good luck.

 

1. Don't rush with killing NPC around. Work as much as you can with the skylab, but don't rush as it takes a bit more credits.
2. Best option for you is to box on x-2 map, or if the PvP map (4-x) is empty of enemies, go there to receive more rewards from the boxes.
3. Box till you make ship FE equipment.
4. After you have FE ship, work for Irises and do ALL the missions one by one. That's how you gonna grow up with credits and be able to advance with skylab too.
5. As last step, you can always find new, better, friendlier clan that will understand you.
6. Get from auction all the Irises, buy FE equipment for them too, and continue with doing gates and building up pilot tree.



PS. This is the most important thing, so read it careful: this game has a SLOW gameplay. That means, you can't be best around in 1 day, even if you pay money. Just take your time and enjoy it. As time passes, you will be stronger and stronger.

 

Hmm, ok where to start. Oh, yeah, ROFLMAO. I also play on US3, or East 2, sorry Pic, and have not spent a penny on it. 1 of 6 servers.

Now that is out of the way what the others have said is true, take your time. The game is a marathon not a sprint. That said, it is a game and not a life and death situation. Take your time, and relax... You can build up without spending real money, and get a lot of nice things. But realize that as exciting as this game can be, not always lol, there is a ramp up period that goes for a long time and tapers off, very gradually. I can tell already from your opening that you are like me and not into the idea of boxing. It takes forever and you already want everything now. Plus who are we kidding, unless someone comes along to fight, it can be the most boring thing.

Now, the first thing you need to get handled is your skylab. It is the hardest thing to take care of because it is on the back page and when you need to save up the credits for it, it is too easy to spend on things in the auction, or on ammo . Once again, take your time and know this, it takes a while to get the skylab completely built up. I want to say 2 to 3 months to get everything leveled up to lvl 20 to include seprom which can take up to a week or two at the top end. Build the middle a few levels and then as you keep building them, build the collectors a couple levels behind. Don't start the refineries until the collectors are at level 10, and then start prom and xeno 5 levels after that. This way you should always have ore in the collectors to do everything. Leave Seprom until Promerium is level 10.

Now the only part that sucks with this method is the credits. You will have to save some to take care of the upgrades to the skylab. Also, you will have to do a lot of transfers to get the credits you will need. But I can not stress enough to just save you uri and do not instant send. Marathon remember.. As mentioned above, work on the many missions that are given. You will gain credits to keep the ball rolling. Bid on a damage design for your vengi and the cargo bay expansion to help with transfers for credit sales. I also found that if enemies keep springing up, its best to have a shield design on hand and switch to it. I don't care what anyone says, I could see the difference while low in levels.

Last I have for now is have fun. Find a friend, or make a friend, that is playing when you are playing and work together. You will find you will enjoy the game more and may even find that you are making faster strides. You do not necessarily need clan credits to build up, its nice though. Most of my work was done alone except for in GB1 where Green above got me going. Have fun, and when I see you I will try to help you out.
