mega frustration.

I have read researched and worked to get havoc. It seems to me that it is a goal to achieve. I have done nothing other than try to get them for better than a month now. Farmed palli till im sick. Bought uri at x3 till my wife wont speak to me. gate after gate. and they just don't fall. Im a reasonable fella, but something is wrong here. I need some help here. I love the game but I need the havoc to compete. I don't want to be one of those guys that just shuts the game off and walks away from it, but I realy am getting there. someone help me out. what am I doing wrong? I must say on the upside im drowning in ammo. but the ammo doesn't do me any good at all without the skins to use it competitively. any help or encouragement will be greatly appreciated. Rowdy.

 

Rowdy, Unfortunately I don't have any suggestions. The Havoc is a luck-of-the-draw item. Some people have gotten them in 20-30 gates, some have done over 100 and still don't have all Havoc. You can try creating a post in Speakers Corner as some of the community may have some helpful suggestions.

I am really sorry to read this. Apparently, this game is build on some way to be based on luck, like getting Havoc, Herc, LF-4. I think you don't need to go hard on this. Like the mod said, you may do 100 gates and still don't have 10 Havocs. Just chill a bit, and accept that what you are doing is about being lucky, nothing else. When you realize it, will be easier for you.

If you let me, I want to give you advice (for the real life too, it's same everywhere): don't ever again make goals that are based on luck, ever. You will get disappointed only, like you are now.

 

I had seen and was told that removing all existing havocs from your drones give you a bigger chance at getting havocs. I don't believe it, but it's worth trying since they don't do anything at the moment, apart from cosmetics. So far, it's been working, but it's quite hard to believe. 1st Zeta, No Havocs, I got a havoc from the gate. On the second zeta, I had on Havocs, and got none. 3rd Zeta, I had no havocs on, and received a havoc. Not many attempts to gather info, but it's a start.

 

DO needs to look at the gate percentages for the HAVOC there is a definite gap in the chances to get one.

 

I got 10 havocs from doing 17 Zetas. I did NOT put them on my drones at all... and I also never completed more than 1 Zeta per day when it gave me the design.. if I did two.. no havoc from the second gate. That's all I know. I have 15 now from about 27 Zetas. Clan mate got 10 in 14 zetas.

 

I was lucky I did 11 and got 10 . but I did 42 kappas for 10 hercs .

 

if I may add my 2c........ and now all will know........this is not 100% but does help increase odds from my own experience.
Rowdy here is a gimmick if you will, on your last wave send the npc to the corner. then warp in a basic lf2 bo1 ship with nothing on and pop the npc with that ship. just try it, if it works it works, it did for me, I have 2 sets of havocs and working on my 3rd set of hercs.
don't know how well it works on epsilon with lf4's but theory should be that same

 

for havoc i lucky only 17 zeta and get 10, but i don't have luck with hercules since i do 50 kappa and only get 5

 

well when uve got players getting 10+ out of 20 and players getting less than 1 out of 20, there is a fundamental problem with the system. Rowdy.

 

Maybe im coming across wrong. For me the game is split into 2 parts right now. ( and I love it.). There is a faction of mmo that thinks that they rule the world and have decided that the company doesn't mean anything. they are the rulers of the map and that's it. Thier view seems to be we are bigger than you so screw you and we will kill you onsight even though you are in the same company. the other part is I am desperate to fight back. I am a good time manager, but I don't seem to be able to spend even nearly enuf time to get the equipment to fight back with. im not a slouch. I understand the game. But im am constantly frustrated with being denied the tools to take it back to the enemy. Im just looking for a way to just survive and maybe even win a battle or two. Why does wiki say I have a one in three chance at the havoc, that can and is often the difference in battle, and I don't get one in 20? Ive done my time. Ive spent my money. Now I want to play the game on a fair playing field. Ive got premium everything. but as long as the advantage and apparently the odds are in their favor I will loose. And that's what im going to log in for Is to know im going to loose no matter how hard I try? Rowdy.

 

Let me tell you something, like friendly advice even though I don't know you personally. In this game, as it is open PvP type, by default someone is going to always be better than the others. This f2p games for all are based on that type of system. Someone pays a bunch of money to be the best and enjoy it on some other way. I understand that company troubles, I have on VRU too. But, you know, I don't mind anymore. What I have learned so far is, if someone from your company tries to attack you, I am sure it's not one the best players around. They are some people that think can do some stuff by scaring someone off and stealing your Kristallon for example. What you have to do, is to fight them back hard, really hard so they will remember it. You know how to do it.

About the Havocs, it is really based on luck. Although, if you try to read the Wiki about the Havocs, you will see in comments that people write if you have 0 Havocs equiped when you enter the gate, you are mostly likely to win Havoc again. I don't know if you have equipped or not, next time try it if you have already equipped some before. Otherwise, I have to say that it was really, really bad luck. Don't get mad on things that are based on luck. Enjoy the game and remember, you can't reach the ones that are putting bunch of money so easy, without doing the same.

 

alright ladies and gentlemen. to clear the air ive not had skins on my drones from the beginning. when I saw they did no good till u had enuf to have them on all drones I got it.. enuf about that. I do however carry the defence drone skins. they are invaluable. They add several thousands to my shields in config. 2. xxxxxxxxxx The basic problem im having is the offensive drone skins. I puke every time someone says I got all of mine at a 2 to 1 ratio. Im not even getting 1 in 20. Im not stupid. Im just asking for fair. Rowdy.

 

looks like to me most everyone answering are the lucky ones telling me to just go with the flow. well good for you if u got lucky. Stop taking advantage over me all the other unlucky ones. I fight with as much passion as anyone else. but if I had the tools you fools have id kick u to the curb. Rowdy.

 

If this was meant for me, than I'd like to make you happy and tell you that I haven't done that gate for now, that means no Havocs for me still. What I told you was advice if you haven't seen it already. No one is using cheats or something to win them. It's on LUCK.

However of me being friendly and trying to help, I don't get why you have to do verbal abuse here. That Hercs you have are on luck too. I am really, REALLY sorry DO won't let you buy Havocs and Hercs with uridium. Still, you have to try hard to get them. Pitty, DO can make too much money from cashers like you.

Oh, I forgot.. DO gave you (the cashers) actually red and blue keys where you can win almost everything (the new ships, you can win Havocs). That's great, isn't it? Why don't you wait for the event and buy some keys for you? But, god damn it DO, you still made that Havoc on luck Pitty for you, I guess you will have to go on with the try-hard.
