Merge GB1 and GB2

Anyone know why BP ain't merged GB1 and GB2 yet, Heard that they were thinking of doin it but not heard anything esle bowt it!
Needs to happen GB1 is Dead needs fresh faces......

 

They never said they had considered it, they have always said server merges would not happen.

Their reasons are:

• People who made accounts on GB1 and GB2 and play both because they are different servers would feel scammed in a way
• Technical issues, the time it would take to transfer data
• Backpage, issues with ranks etc
• If server population pick up again and the new merged server becomes stressed then it was just a waste

The solution to server activity is more new players, not server merges. Better to work on the long term solution that cutting corners for a short term one.

mm why not construcjk a nother server han have a port hole that take u to that server u merge with gb1 and other servers but when u log back in next day u will allway sporn at ur own server ever comp has its own port hole to jume in the 2nd dimension nother world

 

I think it isn't technically possible, from reasons which okapi wrote. It could really bad hurt the game

 

Hurt the game? Would be the best thing that BP has done if they did this!

 

Merging servers seem to be a reoccurring suggestion, which is unlikely to happen any time soon, if at all.

 

Merge em!!! Noobs! ..Also, let ships join together and look like a better version of the century falcon with players firing at all angles!! And please improve the mines with a placement cursor? How dumb..
