"Minesweeper" Pet

I went back a few pages and couldn't find this idea anywhere but do apologize if I missed it, but anyway, how about a "Minesweeping" function for the PET. It could locate and eliminate mines in the same fashion it locates ore. I imagine it would take damage as it went, but less than if the mines hit the ship. This function would be of great use when attacking bases which have been surrounded by mines. Just a thought.

It is a suicide bomber put u get rewards. While this one only cleans up mines and no reward

 

If your PET finds a mine it shall blow up

 

Why would you need reward for your pet triggering a path in a minefield?...Or are you wanting the pet to collect the dang things lol?

Not a bad idea tacko id use it...only way to slip past huge minefields now is with "Ultimate Cloak" on the spearhead...but im not addicted to that ship so id definitely use this as a gear.

 

Me this would be pointless, Soon as the pet got near the CBS it would get poped + i can by myself with no interuption in 4-5 and bmaps astroids can lay 200-500+ mines around the cbs it would take a awhile and enemy would not be ignorant as to what your doing.

 

well i think some folks are forgetting that you can level up the thing. Level 16 pet with all items at level 3, hp at full capacity. This could help out in the sense that yes it takes damage which makes you think when you play if its worth doing. I mean why not, the problem is that it cost uri to rep that pet, so in the end, it does become slightly useless after a while
