Mini-map Background

    Since the recent announcement about having a mini-map background, the setting chosen, will not save properly.

    Clear the check box for the background setting, then click SAVE settings. This only appears to work for that specific log-in session.
    Next log in, the settings has been reset to be on.
    Please adjust the save settings so the background can remain off.

    This affects the servers as listed below.

    Sorry about the ID, it did used to be given, but for some reason I was asked to reduce the text as it must be so much easier to process a graphic intensive logo worked for a signature than it is just text. Things just keep on becoming stranger.

    I can imagine it's a server wide issue. Turning off background was the only type of colour-blind assist within this game. Now beta is really difficult for me to see the aliens within the map.

    Hi ]Coldheart[,

    Can i ask what browser it is you use?

    I don't get this issue on the server i play on, i have managed to turn it off and it has stayed off. I just created an account on a new server, turned off the mini-map background and it remained off when i started a new session.

    I do use FireFox. It is up to date, as well as the flash and java are current.

    same problem with me, on US2
    although not much of a hassle to just turn off the background when logging in

    Thank you very much for bring this to our attention, We have passed this issue on for further investigation.

    As we realize this is a small inconvenience, it is easy enough to go into the setting and turn off. We are aware the mini map settings in some browsers appears to not be holding the settings when you log out and back in.

    We do appreciate you keeping us informed as to in-game issues and we will be looking further into this matter.
