Missing booster

I just bought one of the boosters via the auction, but it's not in my inventory.

1) Where can I find it if not there?

2) Are they automatically applied?

They're applied automatically so you never really 'see' them. There is an icon on the space map that shows what booster you have and the % you're getting from it. You can look at boosters in the shop to see how much time the booster has remaining on it. They last 10 hours of game time if you purchased it with uri or bid with credits.

Do they stack? Say, I buy one exp booster and have 5h remaining on it and then buy another one, will I have a total of 15h or will the second one activate after the first ran out? Or will neither happen and it just goes back to 10h and the remaining 5h are lost?

Yes the hours stack on regular boosters, so 5 will turn into 15 as you said.

However there is two types of each booster, regular ones and then "elite" or "double" boosters that are only available in the shop for 24 hours after a Mega Happy Hour, they turn 10% EP into 20% and have their own timers, so you could have 2 days regular booster and 10 hours of the double booster.

I tried to find the icons you mentioned but failed to do so.
Could you maybe clarify what you mean by space map?

the mini map? The system map? the playable screen? something completely different?

Oh and also, do the timers halt when I log out?

 

The booster icon is on the Space map screen. in the default layout, it is along the top of the screen and looks like a tach gauge. The standard booster timers do pause when logged out.

and whenever you buy boosters if you got already one existing it stacks with the hours, it increases the hours by 10hours everytime you get one
