Missing Cargo Boxes

When is the issue with Cargo Boxes not showing.

This is particularly annoying in 4-5, when a lot of times cargo boxes do not show at all after I have killed some Bosses &/or Ubers.

This has cost me umpteen millions of credits & how many more is it going to cost - I have a permanent trade drone & can sell my cargo at any time!!

 

It's a bug that is already well known. Please do look for other threads with issues like hours as there are already well over 20 of them... Also it will most likely be fixed soon

This issue is currently being looked into by support therefore i can only apologise for the inconvenience this issue may be causing you whilst this does get looked into.

How do you have your settings? you have to have it set to where it says show cargo... If you don't see the cargo check your settings to see if you have that box checked off... that will be the fist place to look. another issue that I have seen when I use a low graphic laptop, the bonus boxes or cargo boxes seem to disappear and re-appear that has only happen to me when I use a PC or lap top that has low graphics

 

What have settings got to do with it? I have my game set to show all cargo boxes.

I have a specially built PC with an AMD fx-8350 8 core CPU & GeForce GTX 670 GPU with a Corsair Series 730T water cooled case.

Also, have I forgotten to mention that I am on the verge of Lvl 23 - so I do know quite a lot about this game!!

 

Then you should be seeing the cargo left behind from npc kills, I have killed a few since you have posted this, I see the cargo just fine dont know why you are not see it

 

It is a glitch in the game & has been ongoing for some time.

It is fine for updates to be made, however it seems that there are too many glitches that happen & very little is done about them or, when a lot of them are resolved, it is only after a lengthy period of time.

We buy items to use in the game & should get the full use of these items. the permanent trade drone was bought by me with money when I purchased the amber Goliath when it was available. If I go to buy an item from a retail outlet & I cannot get value for money from it or use it how it should be, then I would be compensated in return - something that not only DO & Bigpoint seem quite oblivious to, but show total ignorance in!!!

Despite waiting for quite a long period, there has been no answer to this problem - & it still exists!!

It is happening on GB1. I always have a Resource Booster which gives 25% extra ore & have 12 lvl 3 Salvage protocols on my PET which gives an extra 36% when collecting with PET.

I have already posted called Ore collecting problems (http://www.bigpoint.com/darkorbit/board/threads/ore-collecting-problems.96110/#post-821572) where I have a couple of examples of not getting the full ore in total.

 

ok this was posted way back on Feb 22nd, and I know i have sent messages to support and seen other posts about this issues on the forums, when is this going to get sorted out??? some players use the ore they collect to up their lazers or they just wasted all the ore they shot out by not getting anything in return when the NPC pops! Come on this is going on for over 3 weeks!!!

 

Yep same here on GA3. It has been going on for sometime now and seems to be getting worse. All maps from 3x to 4.5

seems to be fixed three dropped on the 15th

 

About 2 weeks ago I started noticing missing cargo boxes or so I thought. After about 10 days I noticed it was not cargo boxes but the green booty boxes not showing up. I reported it and they said they would see if anyone else had that problem. I tried different laptops and internet connections so I know it is not the laptops or the connections. As we know most of the good items like LF4s and cloak4s come from the booty boxes of killed ships or npcs. So up to now I have lost over 90 chances at that. The regular booty boxes show and I can get ammo etc. But not the good stuff. And I am a paid member so it isn't just those that play free. Hopefully they fix it very soon or I will stop supporting financially.

 

I did get an Lf-4 out of a booty box today haven't had that problem. I did notice deadly brays aren't dropping cargo every time. I lagged out of zeta for the first time in years as well. I heard lots of complaints about the gates. The hitac is also invisible sometimes and you have to bounce between maps to see it gain. I'm sure they will fix it, in the meantime it stinks.
