The proposal I'd like to make is for base modules to be placed into ship extras slots.

What I am saying is to give ships lacking the designs that the modules seem to offer a chance to have them by placing the modules into extras for the ship to gain that benefit.

I would say imposing a limit of 1 per config, and the effects should be faster for the boosts that employ an extended time frame "repair speed" to work since the ships would be smaller.

The other restrictions would be that the modules that offer: Honor, Damage or Experience doesn't stack boosts with any ship design, the damage from any module will only yield a 5% boost in PvP and normal otherwise.

  2. So someone can put on a level 16 rocket or laser module and have an extra 80k+ damage? Better yet, you could equip a level 16 damage module and hit like a boss while rolling with a shield design or no design. Your such a bad troll.

Don't the rocket and laser modules determine range?
I only ask because they offer low, mid and long range capabilities for lasers and low and mid for rockets.

  4. They have varies ranges and deal damage which can be quite high.

Perhaps offer only 5% for dmg from modules.

  6. That fixes one problem I suppose. What about the OP rocket and laser modules?

Laser and rocket modules will be 5% dmg in PvP.
Come to think of it dmg will only be 5% in PvP and normal otherwise for all of them.

  8. In other words - You want to look like an asteroid. LOL A rock with roids (can't really reply proper...I abhor bans and warnings.)

  9. This is one post that you don't even need to oppose on. Idea so bad, that the devs will skip right over it :>

  10. This is pretty much pointless or to OP, so no.

Wow, feeling the love here. How is it overpowered when PvP reduces the dmg bonuses to 5%?

  12. so what you are saying is if you are in a bastion and don't have any dmg percentage added, you can equip with dmg bonuses? so then no one would use the enforcers anymore, making the old DO further away, lets please please please please stay with the older versions of DO. Plus I myself don't think anyone else would see a positive side to this.. it is very pointless and on my opinion it wouldn't get any attention in DO making money.. Just saying

Not so, you could use the enforcer and add a honor, hull or experience module.

Nice, i was just wondering tho are these modules only gonna take one extras slot or two?

    Just one.

  16. Before you changed the idea, it was OP. The change made it worthless.

  17. I thought DO was working on making more modules, more modules for the cbs, not for the ship D: I would like to see different and new stuff for the cbs, I think it would make it look cooler.

I don't see how this idea was made worthless, b4 u said sumthin about hittin for 80k so the dmg bonus was reduced to 5% for pvp but it remained the same for npc's.
    That is a gr8 item.

  19. They are not making more for ship. This thread area is a Suggestions box for DO.
