More Battlerays, less exploitable

    Greetings, Pilots!

    The times the Battleray could be exploited or monopolized by a handful of players are over!

    From now, on map 5-3 there will be four Battlerays in total, meaning that everyone has a higher chance to get it busted. Also it will spawn less Interceptors than before and be weaker than before: it now deals less damage and has less hitpoints, too. In turn, the rewards have been decreased to make the Battleray less interesting for farmers and exploiters! The rewards from the remaining Interceptors, the content of both NPCs’ cargo boxes, as well as the ranking points will stay the same.

    To offset this rather drastic change, we introduce a new kind of Battleray: the “Deadly Battleray”. This one is a much tougher mother! It behaves the same like the previous Battleray version in terms of spawning Interceptors and its invulnerability logic - but if it’s not killed within 20 minutes it will disappear to re-spawn on another PvP map at random. When it spawns it will be always at full power. So you better bring it down before it escapes!

    We think this change will make it easier for all players to complete their Battleray-related missions and achievements while still proving a challenge for advanced players.
