  1. Can you have two same ships in a different hanger?

For example I always use my goli to hunt but I also have a spearhead to box with. I have my cetidel parked on a base to sell cargo, and I was thinking I would like a 2nd spearhead set up in the pally field to try to pick that up so I don't have to travel to much. Then I would have my angis ship in 5-2 to log off and sell.

Can I buy a second spearhead and put it in a different hanger AND keep the ship seperate from my spearhead I ONLY use for boxing? If not then I might have to collect pally with a veng..

Also what is the best ship to collect pally with? I don't want to send my goli there so I would need a good ship to run away from red dots... any suggestions or thoughts?

    Hello,

It is possible to have two of the same ships but in different hangars, however you would need to purchase the ship again and allocate it to your desired hangar. Also note that if you do have two or more of the same ships, you will not be able to use the same ship design in each hangar.

Your second question is highly personal and probably something another user would be better at answering for you. There are different things i would consider, such as the different cargo sizes and different speed. Also i would think about the various ship abilities that the spearhead provides. Then again, i don't like collecting so i would probably let my P.E.T do all the work ;)

  3. Personally, I would ignore ~Ddraig's opinion.

I would use the ship & PET to collect palladium as your ship can collect palladium on average at a 3:2 ratio relative to your PET, but it I have found that a lot of the time, the ratio was nearer 2:1.

As for bonus boxes & special event boxes, the PET is more preferable if you have salvage protocols - more so if you have all 12 salvage protocols. However, you can collect boxes faster with your ship.

  4. I would suggest that we all playing the same game...
adn as such we argue /discuss with each?other

much as your opinion is valued... we all work together

  5. I was referring to ~Ddraig's comment "Then again, i don't like collecting so i would probably let my P.E.T do all the work".

I said personally, I would ignore it due to the fact although you get more rewards from bonus boxes with a PET if it has salvage protocols, you lose out in reality due to the fact that you would collect a lot more boxes overall if you used your ship as well.

  6. I meant you no harm/disrespect .-ŚìζvєŖ†βuζζєT-.... hope no insult taken..
only to answer the OP need specifics... maybe I missed your main point... if so I apologise...

as for ships and hangars... I wouldnt do what the OP has said he is doing, nor do I!

I have 2 spearheads and raised the issue many months ago at being unable to obtain a second design for the ships. It is impossible to have 2 spears both with elite design for example. If you were to have 3 spearheads and gave 1 of them the elite design and one of them the veteran design then I believe it would then be impossible to change any of the designs.

I believe this is something that has been overlooked and raised the issue. It was passed up by a forum moderator and apparently forgotten about.
