Multiple Spearheads

    Not sure if this is general or technical so please move if necessary.

    I decided I wanted a couple more spearheads. I had one and won another in auction. I allocated it to hangar. My 1st spear has elite design on it. The 2nd spear will only let me select normal or veteran design. The 1st spear will only let me select veteran.

    Maybe I have to get additional designs I thought? Well, it won't let me bid for additional designs for the spear as I already own them.

    It's not a huge issue but if I now get the 3rd spear I will be stuck unable to change the designs on any of them and that's an issue.

    Is there no way to use the designs on multiple ships? Is this an issue that's been overlooked.

    If you want to use elite design on the second ship, change the first one to normal Spearhead first. That should open your options up.

    Yes, I understand that but if I were to get the 3rd spearhead... what then?

    That the same as having more Goliaths, u can't use the same design on two of them, but the problem is that u can't use the basic "Goliath design"(the ship, how u get it when u buy it).

    Hi there,

    I apologise for the delayed response to this issue. I have also moved this to the "Technical Issues" section due to the nature of the issue.

    I would agree with the answers already provided that the game is acting correctly in not letting you use the same design twice across different hangars, since this is the case for any item. For example you can't use the same LF4, jump chip, shield generator etc. across all your hangars, you would have to remove it from one hangar before being allowed to use it on another.

    What i am unsure about is that if this is the case, then not being able to bid on multiple designs could be an issue. Therefore i have passed this issue on for further investigation.

    I appreciate your patience whilse we get this issue investigated.
