New Vengeance designs

Designs were bought out for the Goliath - Spectrum, Dimisher, Venom, Solace & Sentinel - whereas the Vengeance only got the Lightning design.

The Goliath was already more powerful than the Vengeance & with the upgrades, pilot points etc, that disparity has become even bigger.

Even the Aegis, Citadel & Spearhead all have had new designs.

There should be more designs for the Vengeance (maybe similar to the Goiath ones above) in order to restore more of a balance. This should be seriously looked at considering that they have bought out new designs for the Nostomo with one (Ambassador) being a lot more powerful than the Vengeance.

Admittedly, these new designs are only awarded as a BONUS after meeting the required criteria for introducing/inviting friends to play the game. However, this bonus criteria is quite obviously going to be abused & word has it that those who already invited friends preiously will have those invites count - so, it has already been abused because this process was abused by some in the first place.

 

You do realize the vengeance can be used as the best pvp ship right? They are the most annoying to kill as a goli because they're hard to lock when they're spinning around you, and when they run low on hp, just run away...ridiculous. If you want more skill designs, what are you proposing?

 

I know that Taser - I learned to play this game in a vengeance & still use it predominantly, other than in gates.

My main criticism is that the disparity has grown significantly now with all the bios & upgrades.

I was sort of thinking of designs similar to the ones that are already out for the goli & are stated above. I just started this post out of curiosity & sort of hope that others will contribute & come up with some possible designs.

 

Yes, they made ambassador , but im sure just 0,1% of people will have it and that costs for it so do not care you will normal find them in map and they will kill you like nothing .

And about the idea , its not bad , but new designs for vengi? im sure lighting vengi is a lot stronger than some of goli super designs

its not bad , but it will have a lot of mistakes and newcomers will have more problems to improve their own ships if very fast vengi with ability like venom will chase them

Vengi is very powerful if used correctly and the best hit and run ship also the best hunting ship.I was hunting yesterday with my Revenge vengi cuz (No lightning design)and was running suicide config and run config and fought a MMO goliath UFE he was like emp,smb,insta shield everything loaded and i had only emp's i was doing like hit and run on him and he was never able to catch me when i emp and he had trouble locking me when i circled him with my suicide config.I killed him like 6 times while he only got me 2 times.

 

A solace version for the vengi might be pretty neat. I'm drawing a blank right now as to special designs though. Don't want anything too OP.

Just for the record, those ships only have two designs each, none of which are skill designs. The vengeance has many designs(Edit:sp, ep, honor...ect.)

i dont think so. venge is good ship, but only if you have lightning on it. so even if they add new designs for venge i would never buy one.
