Newbie Questions

I have some questions.

1. What server has the most players on it? Is ping going to be an issue if I were to play on an American server when I am in Europe?

2. Is it even worth starting now? It would be to expensive to buy all the cannons and stuff that I would need for money and PvP is really the only reason I would play a game like this.

The reason I'm asking is because I heard that you perma banned bots here while on Seafight they only get a 3 month ban...

ping should be a big issue in pvp fights mate
to be ready to pvp in darkorbit need a long time 1-2 years OR a lot of money mate 1500 euro at least i think
ban to bots here is PERMANENT this days

Nope. You won't be able to PVP for the longest time. If PVP is your goal, I would go elsewhere.

 

Honestly if it is PvP you are looking for there are many other places to find fantastic space PvP for free. (My signature has a hidden message.)

I would love to see D.O. succeed but I am getting increasingly sceptical.

 

1. Whichever is your country or if you have a very high ping you can play anywhere.

2. I dunno ( it is Reloaded now). One player said they paid $6,000 over time and yes, it is expensive. Just PvP, really no wonder (Sorry, just thinking outloud).

Why are you worried out bans? Are you a cheater? Just play legit and you won't have worry about bans.

 

I'm no cheater but I don't like to play with cheaters. But I guess I'll just stick with Seafight for now.
