So simply I have couple of questions, here they are:
1. How many Kami Gears can a P.E.T have ?
2. How to increase the range, so that my P.E.T can collect more stuf..
3. Best strategy to do BETA gate?

PET can have only ONE of each gear type. To extend its range you will need to get a higher level gear that has a higher range. Auto Looter 1 has a range of 700, while auto looter 3 has a range of 3000 units.

You will also need AI for the pet in order for it to collect more efficiently. While it is boxing or collecting resources.

To have more than one Gear, OR AI chip you have to unlock slots in the PET the more slots you have unlocked the higher the next one cost in uridium. Also Pet GEAR is level limited, meaning you can only get certain gear if your pet meets the level requirement
Your pet gains EP from shooting npcs with you or being activated when you receive a reward from a quest as i know pet can have a maximum of 6 Gears on at one time and seems about 12 Protocols.

B gate is just like A gat only NPCs have double there normal stats so best strategy would be do what you did for A gate, you can use x-2 ammo if you have the ability to do so Kamikaze 3 helps but want to be premium so you wont need uri to rep your pet

2. Buy radar cpu's and equip them on your PET, also try to buy the lvl 3 gears/protocols because they give the highest boost/range.

I actually did them with full lasers on one config, and full shield in ship.
And in the other config I had 12 of the best speed generators, and 3 shield. And on the drones I had 8 lasers and 8 shields.
-Or do you wanna know how you should kill the aliens?
Just drag the slow npc's with your slowest config while shooting on them, while waiting sometimes till they are in range again.
And you should use your fastest config when you have to repair, or if you have to deal with the protegits.

There are also a lot of guides written for the beta gate, so I am sure you can find some good ones if you want additional information.

3. Combination of shield and damage on 1st config and combination of shield and speed on 2nd config and also use of kamikaze is beneficial.

I mean like, 2 radar lvl3?

 

Yes you can have multiples of the same protocols, but only one of each gear.

 

The answer provided by -Pacman2- is correct. You can have as many protocols as you have open slots available.
