npc shields

i have noticed that npc's shields do not regenerate. is this a bug or something dark orbit have done to better game play?. ty

 

Where have you noticed that? On which NPC? Cause for me it's the same, if I let them run they will regenerate their shield.

 

theres been a lot of talk on chat about aliens blue shield not regenerating. its a good thing. but i thought i would ask to see if its a permanent change

its been all npcs that ive noticed it on. i sometimes come across an npc with no shields too at all and just a little bit of hp

 

they did it for the npc in my gates but the other ones regenerate them

Can i ask whether the NPC's that you find like this, are they moving through the maps? Also, have you tried waiting for a bit to see if their shields do regenerate?

There is normally a cool down period between the NPC last being damaged an when they begin to regenerate, and this could be why you may have found some NPC's with no shield.

normally it is the hit points that are low, when an alien has nearly been destroyed it wanders off and normally the shields fully regenerate but hp will still be at the low level, but for the past few days i and others have been seeing most, if not all npcs that have been previously attacked, with no shields. I was just wondering if d.o as made a change so that npcs dont regenerate there shield.
