NPC Ships in Team Death Match

Hello,

I don't think that US4 is the only server that has this problem, but has anyone ever tried to join a TDM now a days? It's almost impossible due to lack of participation. Usually it's a couple of people in the queue, trying to get a game started, but never able to due to lack of players that actually want to play.

My idea is to add NPC ships that would take the place of player ships. So for example, if you were to have 1 player wanting to play TDM, but no one else would, the game would put enemy NPC ships in the game in place of enemy ships, that way you can still do TDM, but just not against an actual player. Any kills that you get against these ships would still count to your ship kills and you would still get honor and EP like usual. They will look just like player ships with drones, ship designs, etc.

Obviously, these NPC ships would not have the same reactions and "player smarts" as a regular player, making them easy to kill. This, in turn, would make people want to join in the TDM in order to get "cheap and easy" kills. This then creates a want for TDM and makes people want to join it.

Interesting idea..You know DO has added npcs that look like players, the goliath and vengeance that escorted new pilots to the portal in the tutorial map.And the ones in kronos.

 

If there are 1 in the queue then make it a 1 vs. 1.

i joned TDM yesterday and there were 7 ufes on 3 noobs +2 ufe
lol totally crap they shot down us at repair module

 

It would be like kronos, but the ships would be much stronger.

 

Yep TDM needs a re-balance for sure...7 ufe are allowed to fight 7 fe...And the other servers who have not many people playing the event,and players can`t find a match because not any people like it...
