overbidding in the auction

well either way you make your argument you can not stop someone from out biding you in the last seconds by no amount even if the 10% is applied that is just an unnecessary boost in Daily and weekly auctions. only solution would be to put auction on its own server or what not and make it live like the game screen so you will not have to constantly refresh and bids can go up to the second with automatic increases.

So lets say i bid 4milland you bid 4.1mill the live version we can keep going without refreshing by 100k increments or so and the final amount it goes for is deducted at the end. or instead of adding 100k you can at 5 mil what ever etc only way to solve the issue your typing about

Maybe they set different bid gaps for different items. Take the 50-cloak CPU-- this usually goes for 100+mil, so maybe to take over this bid you need to bid 5mil more than the last guy (a number unique to the cloak chip)

Maybe the bid gap for a booster is 2mil.
Maybe the gap for the x2 ammo stays at 10k

See what I mean?

 

Well I very much suspect a few peeps are running auction bots -- was bidding on a booster and every time i upped it, the winning bidder upped it instantly. Matter of fact, that dude is posting on this thread. No names but this is the only player I have seen it going on with so far and I know this guy got nailed for the stage one bot crackdown back when....so his character is already suspect.

 

Just outbid 'em by +10,000 credits...geez in the last 30 sec. Snooze you lose
