P.E.T. Protocals

I have 2 questions


1.)So I was reading the protocols descriptions, and I noticed something under the radar protocols

"Effect: Increases your radar range by 12%

The radar protocol extends your radar's range. It will also increase the effectiveness of your collector and looter gear."

So does that mean I can see my enemies before they see me on the mini-map?(PvP maps). Does it increase my ships radar range or just my pets.


2.) I forgot where i read this but salvage protocols have chance of "malfunctioning" and giving you like 30% extra of the bonus box stuff.

1) Radar protocols will increase range and effectiveness for Auto-looter and Auto-resource collector gear. You can't see enemies if you have radar protocol and its applicable to only P.E.T and not your ship.
2) 1 Salvage protocol (level 3) gives you 3% increase from bonus box contents and it never malfunctions.

This what I meant. I have a boxing doubler and 2 Salvage protocols and TB II maxed. I get 72 uri form the smallest possible box in b-maps. Each Salvage protocol adds 2 more uri for each box. I get 76 when my pet gets one these boxes. This being said lets say one of my pets protocols malfunctions and doubles the collected not adding the 2 uri boost since a 2x boost is added instead, that would give me 148 and no its not a bigger uri box the only possible amounts i can collected are (72,76) (180,191) (360,382) (Me,PET)

Your calculation is correct. With Tractor beam II, Salvage protocol (level3) and box doubler the smallest box in battle maps you can collect is 76 uridium. The amount of uridium you received is rare and it is not because malfunctioning of protocols. It happens because of rare spawn rate of these uridium boxes.
