P.E.T Shield idea

Hi All

as we all know the pet has 17 shield slots and to be honest they are pretty much useless really no one really shoots pets unless at port and wants cheap ep and honor

the only good thing about it is kami and guard mode really which is just adding more damage so i think there should be a gear that could basically give your ship the shield from the pet it would be a new tactic in fights and make battles last longer

you'd have to pay for it obviously but could be like the combo repair gear even though that's kinda useless now
if you wanna expand on it go ahead

 

Seems an alright idea . But will it work during combat or when your ship isn't taking/dealing any damage?

 

it should work during battles, I mean it would make sense, you would only really need the extra shields if you were under attack, otherwise your shields would regenerate by themselves, if DO would decide to make it like Combo Repair Gear, where you cant be in a battle for it to work, it would work quite nicely: You're in a tough fight and you are running out of options, EMP and cloak, then get your pet to send you shields and health so you could uncloak as if you had much health to start with, although I don't really see how using the shields on the pet would work in this, people wouldn't buy 17 shields for their pet just to use this gear, the ones that do are unlucky, it should just work like the Combo Repair Gear, except send shields over to your ship. I mean it's not the best Idea but it could be developed well.

Would say yes but ufes can get over 1,000,000 shields in a spear.
not to mention a goliath. and a citadel with over 2,000,000 shield....
any more shields would be a bit too much.

 

It would be interesting, as in PVPs players would be wary of enemy pets and pets would become a top priority to shoot down in battles.

 

Really like this idea! Make the pet more useful.
