palladium event

With all the new stuff added for the dark orbit reloaded, why have we not had anything done with the palladium field, say for example, perhaps we could have the exchange rate for palli dropped from 15-1 to a 12-1 exchange rate, some people live in the palli field in 5-3, however with the drop in exchange rate, i'm sure more people would be prone to go there or even spend a little more time in the DO universe if the exchange rate was dropped, even if it was only for one day a week, say perhaps on one of the days that we dont have an event already... Just a thought to help noobs and veterans alike..

 

This is a great idea. Should make the Palli Fields more interesting.

A very interesting idea. I'd like to see something like that.

 

Any palli event will not work for a few reasons:-
1. Typically one company owns the palli field so it would be unfar on the other 2 companies.
2. When there is a palli event the palli field will turn into a cheap killing field as there will be more weak player in the same place.
3. Palli collecting although boring is one of the most efficient activities for gaining uri in the form of gate spins.

 

Not necessarily.

For example if palli would appear to other maps.
And it could be special colored for example (Red palli), but it should be pretty rare, becourse of alien i suggest farther down on my text.
This special palli could be exchanged in any base, but only because it should be interesting event for all level players.

I was thinking also, that there could be special alien witch would emit energy that releases lots of "Red palli"

And to make this event even more interesting, lets add there some nice pvp missions and scoremageddon ​

 

1. this event doesnt mean you have to pally, it can be an hour for changing exchange rate meaning you may have a full cargo of pally reserved for the event
2. same reason as above
3. the exchange rate isnt changed drastically. yes the will be benefit to players and thats the same with most events.

 

How about during the event if you make pirates carry pally in their cargo?

The palli field is already a cheap killing zone, More often than not alot of UFE's already go to palli for easy kills, as far as one company owning the palli field there are still alot of people who honor a palli truce.. Thats like saying there shouldn't be a space ball event, cause one company always owns the event.. The whole point is to get more people involved in the game.. veterans and noobs alike... Just because there is a palli event doesn't mean you have to do it.. Not everyone does TDM, SB, or SC, as always you have the choice to particpate, unlike Scoremagedon. It would be interesting to see the alliances that form due to the event.. I like adamantium dragon's idea of "red" / special palli from npc's that could be exchanged at any base... Thanks for all replies...

 

A suggestion:
What if during the event, we say pirate cargo ships were shot down releasing masses of palladium through all maps. thus for the duration of the event, palladium spawns in more maps (e.g. x-3 x-4 etc)

 

Anything related with Palladium is bad idea right now.​

 

I think it would be good to change the exchange rate from 15 to 10 it would make alot of people happier and palling alot better.

 

DO give you free galaxy energy 15-1 and you need more?
