    Patchnotes – April 2014

    Greetings, Pilots!

    We know that we post a lot of announcements about features and events, but that you cannot always see what we are doing to improve the game. These monthly patch notes are intended as a way to keep you better informed.

    In April we implemented the following features, events, improvements and bug-fixes:

    Features

    · Contact List
    With this feature you can manage all your contacts in the game client directly. Adding new contacts is now much more convenient than before.

    · Friend Invite
    The friend recruitment program has been redesigned. Players will now get much better items, such as new and exclusive Nostromo ship designs and even LF-4 lasers. You will find more detailed information in the FAQ posted in the game forum.

    · Removal of Old Missions
    Following the introduction of the new missions in February, all old missions remaining were removed from the game.​

    Events

    · April Fool's
    On April 1st, all drones were turned into “nyan sheeps”. The sheep graphics were kindly provided by our Farmerama team.

    · Battle for Influence
    The Battle for Influence took place during the last two weeks of April and introduced “influence points” for which players of the different companies had to compete. The companies were rewarded with bonuses that were active for seven days after the event's completion and which were calculated according to the number of influence points. The the winning company was given an extra reward on top of all this.

    · Cosmonauts Day (RU only)
    A one-day event on all Russian servers to celebrate the first manned space flight. Several event games and special bonus boxes were offered to entertain our Russian community.​

    Improvements

    · Website

    · Clan: The number of Credits a clan can pay out to clan members is now restricted.​

    · Game Client

    · Game Entry: New players will now be spawned near their faction’s home base.​

    Bug-fixes

    · Website

    · EPPP: The Centaur design will no longer be displayed on the EPPP if the Saturn design is equipped.

    · Clan

    · Clan Search

    · The clan search now works as intended.

    · Search results no longer appear twice.

    · Missing localization in the clan administration was provided.​

    · Shop

    · The 5% Premium rebate is no longer deducted twice when a player buys a tech-slot in the tech factory.

    · Booster: In some cases the remaining booster time was negative. This problem was fixed.​

    · Hangar

    · If you want to buy the last P.E.T. generator slot, the correct price is now displayed.

    · The new “Friend Invite” rewards (Nostromo ship designs) now keep their equipment status when switching between ship designs.​

    · Achievements: The achievement “Radioactive” will no longer count NPCs which have been killed outside of the radiation zone.

    · Ranking: Changed pilot names will be updated in real time.

    · Auction

    · If a player wins unique items he/she already has in his/her inventory, the Credits will be refunded.

    · It is now possible to switch off the in-game mail notifications.

    · Xenomit bought with “Instant Buy” will now be credited to the user’s account.

    · The refund booking issues have been resolved. Now players who did not win an auction will be given their Credits back.

    · Auction History: The scroll bar is now correctly displayed and players can navigate properly.

    · CBS modules bought in the auction house now have full hit points.

    · If you overbid yourself, the auction would not work properly, with Credits either being booked back multiple times or Credits being deducted multiple times. This issue was fixed and will not happen anymore.

    · The performance of the auction house has been improved.​


    · Game Client

    · Singularity Skill: If you kill an enemy’s P.E.T. while using your Venom’s Singularity skill, the rewards will now be correctly booked to you.

    · The EMP device now breaks the P.E.T.’s lock when attacked by the Venom’s Singularity skill.

    · P.E.T.

    · The P.E.T. will no longer continue to collect resources after a ship warp if the new P.E.T. configuration does not have the resource locator gear equipped.

    · The trade window will now close if the P.E.T.’s trade gear was used and the player starts to move his/her ship.​

    · Contact List

    · In the past, if you had too many friends, the client would disconnect during loading.This problem was fixed.

    · Inactive accounts can now be removed from the contact list.​

    · CBS: The CBS icons of your own station are now clickable again.

    · Sector Control: The influence points rewarded for the Sector Control event during the Battle of Influence were issued multiple times. This was a mistake and will no longer happen again.

    · Mission Control

    · If a mission condition says that the player must visit a Mission Control, he/she is now able to visit any Mission Control of his/her own company in order to fulfill this condition.

    · All available missions will be displayed again if you open your Mission Control.​

    · Settings

    · The Client Settings window was opening behind the Mission/Company hierarchy window and, thus, was partially unusable. This issue has been fixed.

    · Shortcuts can be assigned for the quickslot-bar again.​

    · Ship Warp: If you change your ship’s design, it will now be updated immediately in the game client’s ship warp menu.

    · Rocketlauncher: The first volley shot from a rocketlauncher was not shown in the game. This problem has been fixed.

    · Capture the Beacon:

    · If a player collected the beacon on an enemy x-2 map, the beacon was not visible. This issue was fixed.

    · Capture the Beacon: Influence points will no longer be rewarded multiple times during Battle for Influence events.

    · The client will no longer crash after killing the player who is currently carrying the beacon.​

    We also carried out a number of additional bug-fixes, text corrections and other improvements.
