    Greetings, Pilots!

    We know that we post a lot of announcements about features and events, but that you cannot always see what we are doing to improve the game. These monthly patchnotes are intended as a way to keep you better informed.

    We implemented the following features, events, improvements and bug-fixes in July:

    Events

    * Independence Day (US only) To celebrate the Independence Day in the US on July 4th, a one-day event was held on all US servers. Despite several event games, the desired Independence ship design for the Goliath was offered at a discounted price.

    * Jan Hus Day (CZ only) Jan Hus Day was celebrated on Czech servers on July 6th. Players were entertained with additional event games such as Crazy Cubi and Infiltration. Of course, country bonus boxes were also offered.

    * Bastille Day (FR only) Another one-day event was held on French servers on July 14th to celebrate “La Fête Nationale”. Like usual, we offered some event games and country bonus boxes. Drones also did not incur any damage during this time.

    * Sugar Festival (TR only) Ramadan is one of the most important festivals in Turkey. Therefore, we started a one-week event on all Turkish servers. Special bonus boxes and loads of event games entertained the players during the event.

    Improvements

    * Website

    * Skylab: It is no longer possible to send resources from the ship to the Skylab. The default amount of ore available to upgrade the ore collectors has been adjusted, so there you don't need to transport anything to the Skylab anymore.

    * Event schedule: If a Space Football is scheduled, it will be displayed as such instead of being displayed as a regular Spaceball.

    * Inventory: Players can no longer sell elite items (e.g. LF-4 and drone designs). This was implemented based on player requests to enhance account security.

    * Game Client

    * Mission Control: The task description of the mission “Beneath the Terran Flag” is now clearer.

    Bug-fixes

    * Website

    * EPPP: Users should no longer come across errors when trying to save changes made to the page.

    * Shop:

    * Drone formation F-12-BA description is now correct in Czech.

    * Users who have subscriptions active that give them an Uridium rebate in the shop will now see the final prices. All rebates are now added up and are deducted from the regular shop prices.

    * Hall of Fame: We realized that the Hades Gate Bosses were not listed among the NPCs in the Hall of Fame. Now they are.

    * Game Client

    * General issues:

    * After locking the PC, the backgrounds and jump gates were not displayed anymore. This error has been fixed.

    * Minimap: Despite any non-aggression pacts, other players’ P.E.T.s were still shown as red dots on the minimap. Now they are green as they should be.

    * Chat: The chat hotkey was not working correctly. This error was fixed.

    * Missions: Missions with certain conditions, which must be fulfilled one after another, no longer cause issues with those missions which only have a single condition.

    * P.E.T.:

    * The Combo Repair Gear sometimes would not stop repairing the ship while engaged in combat. This error was fixed.

    * Switching P.E.T. from Kamikaze to Guard or other mode would freeze up the P.E.T. control window. This problem will not happen anymore.

    * When using the Jump CPU, the P.E.T. mode will no longer be reset and the P.E.T. will no longer behave weird.

    * Sector Control: We also fixed some minor bugs in the Sector Control event – it should now work and update properly.

    We also carried out a number of additional bug-fixes, text corrections and other improvements.

    Regards,

    Your DarkOrbit team
