Patchnotes – September 2014

Greetings, Pilots!

We know that we post a lot of announcements about features and events, but you cannot always see what we are doing to improve the game. These monthly patchnotes are a way to keep you better informed.

We implemented the following features, events, improvements and bug-fixes in September:

Features

* Forum The forum structure was changed so that the different language forums are now separated. At the same time, some new features have been implemented, e.g. a calender.​

Events

* Flash Sales A 15% discount was introduced for specific items. This so-called Flash Sales ran for two hours and the discount was in addition to all other existing discounts, so that players were able to get a total maximum discount of 45%.

* Hitac Lottery A new round of the well-known Hitac Lottery started in the last week of September. Players can again win vouchers worth up to € 1,500 for an online retailer, as well as high-value in-game prizes.

* Snatch Time Event (TR only) An event which was introduced by our Turkish office team on Turkish instances and was mostly about defending an admin ship against enemy players on map x-2. We will now analyze the event’s success and will – depending on the result – run it on other servers, too.​

Bug-fixes

* Website

* EPPP: The counter will now show the correct number of “Total views”.

* Messaging system: The scrollbar will be skinned correctly in the new message section.

* Hangar: Players cannot access hangars of other players anymore.

* Clan page: A bug was fixed which lead to a white page if players tried to open the clan member section.​

* Game Client

* The Leonov bonus glow will no longer remain after a ship warp on home maps.​

We also carried out a number of additional bug-fixes, text corrections and other improvements.
