  1. With it being so hard to start out in this game because of UFEs hunting new players for cheep kills. Back in the day company's used to defend there lowers to give the new players a chance to get strong enough to defend themselves. Thats an age long past now.

What i propose is having Npc patrols that attack enemy players invading company maps Heres what i came up with

    X2 map 12 FE golies
    X3-X4 maps 6 FE golies
    X5-6-7-8 maps 3 FE golies

All the patrols will be NPC only attacking invading company's. They will shoot X4 ammo when one spots the enemy it calls to the others in map and they will do the job everyone did in old school DO help protect our maps from enemy's (i feel would be a good punishment for outlaws too)

This will bring back hunting party's plus an UFE should be able to pop the NPCs and cloak again so solo hunting still exists but adds a challenge to them that is not there now. Would also make it harder to farm the lower maps for FE golies but in a hunting group they can still manage. As it is now you can almost spend all day in a enemy company's maps and get no resistance.

My idea revolves around helping the new player be able to build his/her ship still being able to get hunted but knowing that there is something looking out for them makes popping all the time less pain full. Lets face it we need to get new players to play and stay in this game and whats it take about 2 hours to finish the new player quests and you lose the protection then you get farmed by everyone FE and UFE trying to do there quests. The system is flawed and needs a change to make it safer for the new player to play and get hooked on the game B4 getting massacred:)

Another sideline to this is DO can add these to the quest list to kill patrols. Plus it wont be so cheep to hunt the lowers if you got to kill these off you all the time

Well thats my idea im sorry about the grammar not my strong suit and not sure if this was brought up before i couldn't find nothing about it in search thanks

still it wont help any noob much , if i would see this npc and real player ill go for player and that noob npc wont be able to catch me

  6. ok say your in the X3 map hunting a patrol spots you it calls the 5 others all are hunting you while you stay in map even if they not doing much damage alone when 6 are hitting you it it will make it more of a challenge to hunt in the lowers and never know a new player might get a kill every now and then rather then just running they could fight back still would get popped 90% of the time but it would bring back the old days where you had to earn your kills not just farm them and the new player wouldn't feel hopeless in continuing to build there ship

DO has to implement something for the new player to feel that they can grow in the game we used to protect our maps now there is no one doing that this would at least put it back to more of a challenge then just flying around maps for an hour till you find a ship to shoot and if new players feel there is some kind of protection they might stick with the game

  7. If there's a UFE that's hunting, 12 FEs will be doing next to nothing to them... even with x4.
Trust me, I've seen this happen.
