Pet not moving unless the player is moving

To me the pet is little better that a legal bot. I realise that many have the pet and because of that they will not want to agree.

I often here of players that let their pet collect palli or bonus boxes while they do something else.

This to me is botting albeit using a legal tool.

I Suggest that the pet only move if the player is moving the ship, this will stop players parking in the palli fields or cloak bonus boxing with out moving.
Surely it is not in the interest of the game or conducive with fair play, to allow a pet to work while the players ship is stationary.

 

Actually there's nothing wrong with that... I do it to sometimes.

For example i need to do homework, i just put myself in cloak and let P.E.T. collect..
(Only palla never bonusbox)
And it's also fun to kill afk players.. xD

But i like the idea i don't got anything against it if they would change it this way

but this :/ i dont see how it would work your using pally as an example ok im pallying now i stop to pick up some pally so does my pet and doesnt collect what is was about to collect coz i have stopped my ship my pet has stopped working and the cycle would jst carry on like this? i dont see why i would stop to pick anything up myself if my pet stopped working when i stopped moving

i would be better off having no pet to help me collect pally same would be for those boxers out there what if they stopped to collect booty on events? your at top of map pet is near mids or bottom it jst sits there?

how would kami work if i was cubing and just sat there coz didnt wanna go round in circles would be the same in gates most /alot of ppl jst sit in middle with tank and kami everything and shoot once running/corners etc

 

It is only related to collecting, so I guess my wording was not clear.

There could be a delay between you stopping moving and the pet stopping collecting. It could even be say 30 sec or a minute, but only needs to be related to auto collect.
