Pilot Point upgrade or drone formation?

Hello people,

I am flying Goliath, 8 irises equipped with lf-3's and BO2's (standard configs, both with shield). I wanted to buy hearth formation or upgrade my pilot tree first.

I have 7/50 pilot points at the moment. Exactly:
Ship Hull I (maxed)
Engineering (level 1)
Shield engineering (level 2)
Evasive Maneuvers I (maxed)

I was thinking of upgrading my Shield engineering, Ship Hull II and Shield mechanics before going for drone formation like hearth or something.

What i was looking for is, advice from more experienced players what and how to do, or am I on the right way of getting stronger my Goliath?

Work on your PP. Don't worry about drone formations until later on. I suggest either working on PP to get Pilot Hunter (fats) or building GG to get more uri and ammo.

 

I agree with him work on your PP. On my account I have 4 Drone formations and I hardly even use them. Also some formations come with negatives like the moth which reduces your shield and others like heart that reduce your damage.Eventually you'll get them one day but for now try to get the strongest you can.

 

What you are thinking is probably the best thing, focus on your skill tree. If you can build and do zetas this will really help you as you get 50 log discs upon completion and the 50k uri you will have can also go towards buying log discs.

It's worth buying log discs up to a point as skill tree does help with a lot of things but after a while the next point becomes just too expensive to keep buying log discs for.

 

with only 7 BIO pps bio is worth working on.

Also with only the 8 iris gold booty box event is good, as you normally get more apis that zeus blue prints along with lf4s and other elite items so accepting there is luck involved until your get to at least a totally free apis and 20 or more zeus blue prints the gold bbs are normally a very good return.

I would strongly recommend what pacman said regarding gold booty. Save all your keys and use them on zeus event as that's the only way to get zeus parts and you still have chance at everything else so will get apis in the process.
